2) Isn't Israel A Terrorist State? |
Okay, now that we (well, you, not me) have learnt what a 'terrorist' ("a person who terrorizes or frightens others") is, do you agree that Israel is a terrorist state?
After all, they terrorize Palestinians and frighten them. It doesn't stop there. Have you forgotten about the massacre that recently happened? Isn't that terrorism?
Now you will say that Israel wanted to protect itself. But then so did Palestinians (i.e. Hamas) Additional Details Mir Miron: The worlds definition? My dear, when we talk about the 'world', we basically mean the western world i.e America
America + Israel = Buddies. |

Israel was born from the terrorist activities of the Stern Gang and the Irgun.
The Irgun was responsible for blowing up the King David Hotel killing Britons and Palestinians. The Jews that did this dressed in Arab disguises to put the blame on Arabs, a common tactic of Jews in Israel.
The son of an Irgun terrorist is running the White House under Barack Obama.
The head of one of these terrorist gangs became the first Prime Minister of Israel.
The Israelis use chemical weapons on the Palestinians and bulldoze their homes to terrorize them (the same thing that Saddam Hussein did before he was removed from power and hung to death).
So to answer your question, yes Israel is a terrorist state. |

No No No No, Israel is far from being a terrorist state. All what ever Israel does is protect herself and her citizens,Israel responds to unprovoked terror rocket attacks from Hamas terrorists in Gaza against Israeli civilians, the Israel Defense Forces has launched a massive counter attack and will do more in the future
The Hamas government leaders and operatives, which activate terror from within civilian population centers, are the sole bearers of responsibility for Israel's military response. This response is crucial for preserving Israel's security interests.
The IDF Spokesperson states that anyone sponsoring terror, hosting terror in his house, housing terror in his basement and sending his wives and children to serve as human shields - is considered a terrorist.
The IDF will continue its activity against terror activities according to operational assessments held by the Chief of the General Staff. The IDF is ready to widen and deepen its activity against all terror organizations in the Gaza Strip, as long as it is necessary.
In addition, the Israel IDF Homefront Command and emergency authorities, have taken all necessary measures for preparing the civilian population.Long before Israel controlled the Gaza Strip, Palestinians engaged in terrorism against Israel. In fact, it was terror from Gaza that was one of the provocations for the second Arab-Israeli war in 1956.
Despite a history of failing to achieve any of their aims through the use of terror, the Palestinians persist in using this tactic. It seems never to have occurred to the leaders that an even better tool to “resist” would be to emulate Gandhi or Martin Luther King and pursue nonviolence. Better still, would be to follow the proven path to peace with Israeltaken by Anwar Sadat and King Hussein, namely, negotiations.
Hamas has no interest in negotiations; however, as its raison d’etre is the destruction of Israel. It considers all of Israel “occupied territory” so the only thing that Israel could do to satisfy Hamas and spare its citizens from violence would be to withdraw to the border of the Mediterranean Sea.
The latest wave of rocket attacks, therefore, has nothing to do with Israeli policy. Qassam rocket attacks on Israel began in 2001, long before the decision to isolate Hamas. In 2005, Israel evacuated all its citizens and soldiers from Gaza, thereby ending the “occupation” and eliminating any justification for further “resistance.” It was not until the bombardment of its citizens became intolerable in 2007 that Israel placed greater restrictions on movement in and out of Gaza.Rather than end the “occupation,” Hamas terror has brought Israelis back to Gaza, something they hoped to avoid when they left in 2005 with the expectation that in exchange for territory they would get peace rather than more terror. Instead of defensive measures, the Hamas rocket barrages are offensive — war crimes according to the Geneva Convention — and have only brought greater misery to the people living under the group’s domination.
Moreover, Hamas terror has seriously jeopardized the prospects for any Israeli withdrawal from the West Bank as Israelis now have little faith in Palestinian promises after their failure to adhere to the land for peace formula. Worse, Israelis who already feared the threat of a Palestinian state within a few feet of their capital in Jerusalem and, at its closest point, just nine miles from Tel Aviv, are even more frightened by the prospect that Palestinian rockets could be fired from the West Bank into their largest cities and put every aircraft flying into Ben-Gurion Airport in the crosshairs of terrorists. |

The statement I will make is simple and direct!
If the Nations of Islam would leave Israel alone and quit attacking them, threatening them and trying to wipe them out, Israel would live in peace from there on out.
This is just like me. I am a quite, layed back, easy going good old country boy, who don't bother no one, but if you come on my property to steal one of my chickens, you might get shot. The first round is only rock salt and bacon rind, but watch out for the 0 0 buckshot in number 2.
Now if you come to my door and ask nicely for that same chicken, telling me you are hungry, I'll feed you a meal and send you on your way in peace, with a poke full of vittles for later.
Just don't steal from me and I think the Jews feel the same, Don't shoot at them and they won't shoot back! |

First of all, calling Israel a terrorist state is anti-semitism at its highest. Heres the facts:
When the Jewish people wanted to make a Jewish State, they decided that they were going to create a state through LEGAL, DIPLOMATIC means. (Theodore Herzl- The answer to the Jewish question)
When Jews started to move to Israel, they moved there, and bought land LEGALLY from the arabs, and started creating cities from nothing. (For example Tel Aviv) The Jewish people came there peacefully, and the arabs responded by killing them.
When the British were given the mandate of Palestine, the LEAGE OF NATIONS TOLD THEM THEY HAD TO ENCOURAGE JEWISH IMMIGRATION AND THE CREATION OF THE JEWISH STATE, and Britian immediately gave 75% of the mandate to the arabs, creating Transjordan, which is now Jordan. After, Britians Peel commission created a two state solution, giving the Jews a sliver of land in the north, and the Arabs everything else...THE JEWS HAPPILY ACCEPTED, AND THE ARABS SAID NO AND ATTACKED THE JEWS.
later, when the UN made the partition plan in 1947, the arabs got most of the land, and Israel got barely anything once again. The Jews once again ACCEPTED the plan, and the arabs said no, and Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Yemen all attacked Israel. Israel defended Itself, and won the war, creating the state of Israel. Also, IMMEDIATLY WHEN THE STATE WAS ESTABLISHED ISRAEL ASKED ALL ARABS TO STAY IN ISRAEL TO HELP CREATE EQUALITY FOR EVERYONE.
Also, three more two state solutions in the past 20 years all included the arabs getting billions of dollars from Israel, and 98% of the land the Arabs asked for, and everytime Israel accepted, and the Arabs responded by attacking Israel.
HOW CAN ISRAEL BE CALLED A TERRORIST STATE WHEN THROUGHOUT HISTORY THEY WERE THE ONLY ONES TRYING TO CREATE PEACE, AND EVERYTIME THEY TRY THEY GET ATTACKED BY ALL THE STATES AROUND THEM? For example...Six day war, war of independence, Oslo accords, Oslo 2 Accords, Road map to peace, giving back the gaza strip. Also pledging to give $40 billion dollars, a fully armed police force, 98% of the land the arabs wanted, East Jerusalem as the capital of the palestinian state, building more homes in west bank and gaza strip, stop building Jewish homes in west bank and gaza strip...ALL THIS ISRAEL WAS GOING TO GIVE IN THE OSLO ACCORDS AND ROAD MAP TO PEACE, AND ALL THE PALESTINIAN AUTHORITY HAD TO DO WAS STOP ATTACKING ISRAEL, RECOGNIZE ISRAEL'S RIGHT TO EXIST, AND CHANGE THEIR CHARTER CALLING FOR THE DESTRUCTION OF ISRAEL, BUT EVEN THAT MUCH WAS TOO HIGH OF A PRICE TO PAY FOR PEACE!! |

The concept of peace with Israel is not to be found anywhere in the Palestinian schoolbooks.
The peace process between Israel and the Palestinians, based on the Oslo Accords, is not mentioned.
The textbooks fail to teach the youth to see Israel as a neighbor with whom peaceful relations should be desired. One example from the encyclopedia "Our Country Palestine" (page 13) states succinctly, "There is no alternative to destroying Israel."
The State of Israel, a member state of the UN since 1949, is not recognized. It is referred to by substitute names such as the lands within the "green line," "interior," or "1948 lands." The name "Israel" does not appear on any map.
By contrast, the State of Palestine (which does not yet exist) is often referred to and its name appears with the official emblem of the Palestinian Authority, on the cover and the front page of many textbooks. Palestine stretches from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea (i.e. all of Israel) and is exclusively Arab. The 5.5 million Jewish inhabitants are not counted amongst the population.
Jerusalem is presented as belonging to the Palestinians alone, and as the capital of Palestine. Its central importance and holiness for Jews is not mentioned, neither is the fact that the Jewish population constitutes the vast majority of its inhabitants.
The struggle for the liberation of Palestine is presented mainly as a military one. The Feda'i (guerilla) and the Shaheed (suicide martyr) are praised as the spearheads of this struggle. For example, this incitement to martyrdom in "Our Arabic Language for Fifth Grade": "The Jihad (holy war) against the Jew is the religious duty of every Muslim man and woman."
This indoctrination goes far beyond expunging Israel (literally) from Palestinian maps. It goes far beyond denying, indeed ridiculing, the Holocaust as a Jewish fantasy. It consists of the rawest incitement to murder, as in this sermon by Arafat-appointed and Arafat-funded Dr. Ahmad Abu Halabiya broadcast live on official Palestinian Authority television early in the Intifada (October 14, 2000). The subject is "the Jews." (Note: not the Israelis, but the Jews.)
They must be butchered and killed, as Allah the Almighty said: "Fight them: Allah will torture them at your hands..." Have no mercy on the Jews, no matter where they are, in any country. Fight them, wherever you are. Wherever you meet them, kill them.
The Palestinian Media Watch (http://www.pmw.org.il) monitoring organization revealed that on April 14, 2002, the PA reached a new level of manipulation in encouraging their people to seek death in shahada, martyrdom for Allah, by adding religious guilt to those who are not yet martyrs. In Friday's sermon on Palestinian TV, religious leader Muhammad Ibrahim Maadi indicates that those who are not yet martyred may be lacking in their practice of Islam:
Whoever has not merited martyrdom in these times, should rise in the night and say: "My Lord! Why have you denied me martyrdom?"
This constant indoctrination has created a violent culture of hate where suicide bombers are now the most honored of all citizens, where mothers encourage their children to kill themselves in order to blow up more Jews, and the murderer's family and society celebrate publicly when Jews (and Americans on 9/11) are butchered. |

I disagree with your question. Israel has had to put up with crap from the Palestinians for decades. I might think you are too young to remember the mess that happened during the 1972 Olympic games but terrorists from Palestine murdered 11 Israeli Olympians in cold blood unprovoked. You might want to rent the movie called Munich. i have it in my dvd library it tells how the Israeli's do payback. Israel signed a peace treaty with Egypt in 1978 and they have lived up to it. If the Palestinians could only learn to recognize Israel and stop trying to wipe the Jewish state off the map conditions in Gaza would improve. That was not a massacre that recently happened that was retaliation for years of rocket and suicide attacks by Hamas. It was not really a heavy attack either. you figure that 1.5 million live in Gaza less than 3500 died in 3 weeks of heavy fighting. Israel went out of her way to make sure that civilians would not DIE. Israel's goal was not to murder Palestinians. Israel's goal was to have the rocket attacks stop and to take out the Hamas leadership. Sadly the war has ended and Hamas still is provoking Israel. Israel is not the problem it is the Palestinians |

America should be friends with Israel. I think that to call Israel a 'terrorist state' is quite pejorative and dysphemistic. Of course, Israel is not totally innocent, either. They have done aggressive things against the Palestinians, to be sure. But who among us hasn't wronged another country?
Christians should always support the Jewish people. |

Nope!!!
Haha that's so ironic that you ask that!!
Israel is 100% NOT a terrorist state!!
Israel reserves every right to protect her country by fighting back the real terrorists in which I'm not afraid to say is HAMAS!
HAMAS is to terrorist organization!! They are the ones who started all the bombings and killing of innocent ppl including their own!! So when Hamas bombs Israel and makes it their mission statement to destroy Israel and get rid off ALL the Jews in the world, what do you expect-for Israel to just stand by and say: "Oh ok Hamas, you are a bunch of very peace loving ppl and you can kill me and my ppl b/c in ur "holy koran" it says to murder all those who do not follow ur faith,.,ladidadida. . . " -NOOOOOOOOO SIR!
Israel may be tiny but we have DIGNITY and when our WHOLE country is threatened , WE DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!
SO WE WANTED TO GET RID OF THE ROCKETS THAT HAMAS HID IN PLACES THAT HAD LOTS AND LOTS OF PPL B/C THEY THOUGHT THAT B/C THEY KNOW THAT ISRAEL VALUES LIFE, THEY WON'T BOTHER DESTROYING THOSE PLACES!!!.....well that's wrong..Israel sat back too many times b4 so that they wouldn't hurt any innocent ppl..but enough is ENOUGH and so israel had no choice but to destroy those places with the rockets and as a result many ppl were also killed...NOT ISRAEL'S INTENSIONS!!!!!!!
Israel+America = BFFEAEAEAEAEAEAE... |

Nope, Israel is not, not by my definition and not by the legal definition.
There was no massacre.
Same as with the statement you made regarding what is terrorism. Dear girl it's all about the definition, by your definition it was a massacre, by the worlds definition it was not.
Is the European union a buddy buddy too. |

no
unfortunately it is surrounded by them
who are the terrorists in the world? not jews or israelis
more people are killed my muslim terrorists every month than died in the gaza conflict.....and that is not included the poor people of darfur murdered in their hundreds of thousands by arab muslims
so if you are looking for terrorists look to your own faith.....and look at the charmers in pakistan...but of course they never admit they have a problem they prefer to blame everyone else |
