Just as the British explained to the UN before the UN vote, it is not international land to be divided up therefore not internationalists place I will repeat that here.
Jerusalem is not international land to be disputed among nations. It is the religious capital of Israel and the City that David built to be our religious center.
If people want to worship there, no problem, as the Temple was dedicated to be a House for All Nations.
But that does not give one ownership to decide its fate. |

When the world unites into one political and ideological identity versus independent nations that exist today, then it might be worth some consideration. But if a picture is worth a thousand words, here is your answer:

If Jerusalem were the Capital of the World, it would have to govern the whole world. That doesn't seem a good idea to me. Jerusalem is a center of worship for 3 different religions; that is enough of a job without having to govern the world. |

No.
The city doesn't have any significance to atheists, agnostics, Hinduism, Buddhists, Sikhism, Shinto, Wicca etc...
Yeah it has history, but every place on the planet has some sort of history. Jerusalem is only seen as a significant place in Islam, Christianity and Judaism.
A "world capital" would also signify that this certain place, is the most important, place in the world. Whoever controls the political aspect of the city, (ie, at present zionists) would also be considered the most powerful people in the world. So more people would go to war for the city. Would result in more world wars etc...
I really don't believe that people would accept Jerusalem as a World Capital, as many are not followers of Judaism, Islam, or christianity and so wouldn't consider it to have the historical significance you mentioned. Also i don't think everyone would agree with having Zionists as the most powerful people in the world. |

Absolutely not. Historical Israel pre-dates any squatters that have moved into Jerusalem over the past 4,000 years, no matter what they claim or what they've destroyed while there. Therefore, Jerusalem is the capital of Israel and will remain as such until the Lord returns and removes the enemies of Israel Himself. |
