Why do I come to the Israel forum? Well to exchange information!! I am Muslim and I never hated Jews but at the same time I never exchanged ideas with them or got to speak with them. When I started college this year I realized that many Jews are really nice we treat each other as if there is nothing between us for once we can forget about everything that's making a border because we are different religions and we are able to talk to each other. Its a great feeling that us muslims wish that one day there will be peace Both Muslims and Jews get along fine with Christians but with each other we can't I go to the Israeli forum for the same reason many other Muslims got there for like MIMI, we made great friends there like Tabatha, Duke of Tudor, and many other great People and they are jews and we are muslims we are trying to create an environment in which some muslims and jews can actually become friends and not hate each other. Not to mention that we both teach each other arabic and Hebrew words!!! =)

Another reason why I come here is to get to know Jews better and I am sure you feel the same way or else many jews would ignore our questions but I made great friends in this forum!!! I feel or I wish that muslims and jews can become friends I know paperback_writer that we can't stop this war but if we just forget this war and if some jews and muslims become friends maybe in later generations step by step this war can be over, my point is we have to start somewhere, we cant just keep waiting for this war to be over sure we both care for our people and everthing but lets forget a bout everything and just become friends get to know each other, but then again not everyone has an open mind and think about this the way you, MIMI, Tabatha, or Duke of Tudor think all of you guys have a hope just a HOPE that maybe one day we can have peace and we are trying to get to know each other but so far its only a small group of muslims and jews that are friends I hope this group gets bigger and bigger. By the way another reason why I come is beacuse I have open minded friends in this forum like you Tabatha, duke od Tudor and MIMI!!!

Plz see Shanti's question: I believe that there is real evidence of how much the muslims want to understand the Jewish people, and how willing they are. And then plz see Da Man's question and compare them. God brought the love in Shanti's question. And all of this section stood still in Peace for quite some time. Peace to you. It’s wrong that you assume Muslims disapprove of Israel, you should direct your comments only to the people who you came across. “Please can you just honestly tell me:” you say that as if we’re going to do otherwise. Why do you disapprove of Muslims, seems to me that because you met a couple of negative ones you now have fallen into the stereotype about us. “Logically, you aren't coming here to say anything positive about Israel, true?” False, I’ve seen Muslims go on both Jewish forums and say nice things. Including myself. Don’t broaden your comments to Muslims in general, direct this to only the people who were negative. You are very wrong in your thoughts about Muslims. You seem ignorant, so much for saying positive things right.

EDIT: Then you clearly need to rephrase your original question. Negative energy attracts negative energy. Think about why the Muslims were being negative, were they provoked by ignorance?

EDIT: You have every right to defend your religion with the truth, but your original question was wrong and offensive to the good Muslims that have never said anything bad about Jews. That's all what I mean.

I do have a lot of Jew friends and I work in the mall so I come across alot of Israelis and all the ones that I have met we still are incontact and great friends.

I have nothing against Israelis I will say I have came across some very rude ones but I know that u will find that in every country not just Jewish or Muslim countries so I try don't think closed minded as some do.

I think Israel is a very beautiful place of what I have seen in pictures from my Rabbi friends that visit there I would very much like to visit there one day so anyways I hope this answers your question and hope you accept me in ur section I'm one of the good Muslims..

I am not a muslim, i dont have any relegion but im often called a muslim on here because i know somethings about Islam and defend Islam in my posts even though im not muslim.

However i feel the question was sort of directed at me because im often lumped into the group "muslim" which is not a problem for me i just wanted to make the point about my faith or rather lack of one clear.

Ok well i know i have said my share of malicious things, but in my posts most of the time i try to stay balanced and respectful and i try to show the Israeli side at times but ofcourse my biase towards the arab cause shines brighter throughout and I cant do much about no more then you can hide your biase towards to the jewish cause.

Even though there are less users here then in the politics section lets say.

I still like it more then their for a number of reasons mostly because of all the americans in their.

I realise alot of you are americans but still somehow the discussions here take a different atmospher from the usual OMG I HAD CONS THEY SUCK *** or LIBERALS WHY DO YOU HATE AMERICA? in the poltiics section.

I dont care for american politics and in here it is more refined in many ways.

And being French i hate america....

I like to think most of my criticism are constructive and im here for the discussion and the debate of it all.

After all i dont hate Israel, quite the contrary i admire Israel in many ways.

If you look at my posts i almost exclusively write in the Israel section and almost no where else, that is how much i enjoy the debate here rather then their.

I have everything positive to say here. I never insult people. Sometimes I have to be a little bit protective, but all what I say is facts and facts can be painful. Also this is a public website and we have the right to ask and answer wherever we want. Also, there are a lot of questions directed to us here and many questions that are not directed to us but talk about us, like questions asked about the Palestinians and as Palestinian Muslim, I have all the right to answer those questions because they are about me. Also I didn't have an opportunity to have a Jewish friend in my life and on this section I can make good Jewish friends. Also, coming to this section helped me learn a lot about Judaism, a religion that I respect so much. Also, after reading some logical and pointful answers, I became more tolerant with the Israelis and what they do.

The people of the faiths and books are protected by their faiths and books as long as they ad hear to one Lord and only him as universal absolute creator of mankind.
I see no other problems in anything else in peace and patience and in goodness to find out for information and knowledge sake in peace. Anything else is considered with intentions and such intentions of cause to their effect needs to be revealed unto thee. Oh ... its because Israelis stole these people's land or country like we stole the Indians land in America.... Maybe they are trying to understand our philosophy of life. OK Muslims : We the white people when we see something we like we steal it. Stealing s our history and its our future. its funny how we regret what we did to Indians and Blacks in America but don't realize we are doing the same thing to others now.

i usually come here to defame all the lies the media protrays about the palestinian occupation, afterall, if someone tries to insult my people, i do have to right to defend them, do i not? Secondly, i wont have to come here if israel's orignally didnt take over this whole section, i mean, its an open forum, and anyone should be allowed in, and it should be only about travel

and at last, i think the is a very critical question, not only muslims, but anyone else should be allowed in this section, because its a free domain, and its not like the section is labeld "Jews Only"
