Maybe you are Jewish in reality but here on yahoo answers you just play the part of a Palestinian like many other Jews who try to start debates with their multiple accounts.
I am just saying, I really don't mean you, but there are many here who have atleast 12 accounts and play the part of both just to argue with themselves. I blocked those I caught using multiple personalities on yahoo. It is creepy the way they insult themselves to create a drama of attention. |

I don't mind if you're an atheist a jew a muslim a crhistian a hindu or even a saintologist - as long as you are a good person and understanding person.
but to be a jew you have two ways - to follow judaism/convert or to be born a jew.
to your question you are not jewish.. do you want to be? you don't have to be an addict muslim you know many muslims follow only several of the muslim laws and are secular too, the same goes to jews... it's called being a bit religios but not too religious another thing - I don't like it when people tell you what to believe in (it's my rule number 1 in life - never force anyone to believe in anything! - that is wrong who are they to tell me what is right for me?!)that's why I don't like when very religious jews try to convince non-religious jews to become more religious in Israel we are very very against people who try to make you more religious most of the Israelis are secular with a bit of religion just enough so they can have god in their life that doesn't mean they necessary go by all the rules in my opinion that is impossible and unnecessary but that's somepeoples way of living. and I want to state again as long as you are a good person I don't care what you are or what you believe. someone can tell me he thinks he was created by a computer and if he's nice I'd welcome him. |

this is an odd question, Jews are people who are either born jewish or convert to the religion of Judaism, if any of these two apply to you then you are jewish. This is like asking ''i listen to rap music'', am i black ?
lol i dunno but i think any person that looks ''semitic'' or middle eastern who doesn't wear ''islamic clothes'' usually gets mistaken for a jew. I've had people ask if I'm jewish because i have really dark (black) hair. |

Probably not, there are some things that Judaism has in common with other religions or practices. You're only Jewish if you consider yourself to be and have actually made an effort to convert. |

I write "God" for example and I am Jewish. "God" is not his name so this is not taking "God's" name in vain. The idea of writing "God" in the form of "G-d" is not shared by all Jews. As a Jew I don't find anything you just wrote at making you seem like you are Jewish. Just that you are waking up from the false religion of Islam.
Good Luck!!!
Edit - if B is being asked if she is Jewish she must be hott. |

Interesting question. As of course you already know, you are not Jewish unless a. you were born Jewish; or b. you convert. That being said, this question is very interesting, because it illuminates some of the many similarities between Jews and Muslims. When outside of the ME, I often find I have more in common with Muslim (Lebanese/Palestinian/UAE/Syrian/Iranian... friends than with Christians.
I'm glad to see a question focusing on the similarities between our religions, it's nice. We don't have to fight all of the time |

Your first sentence is correct, both my parents are Jewish so I am because my mother is. I have a very religious friend who's mother is Jewish but father isn't but he's a Hasid now.
Judaism and Islam are very closely related and it's not surprising that we share so many customs. However, mile products and meat are forbidden to be eaten together so Yoghurt and Chicken aren't allowed (although permitted fish and yoghurt would be).
Unfortunately the Star of David (AKA Shield of David) is a fairly recent Jewish symbol, the older symbol is the menorah (a seven branched candelabra).
Let's not forget the according to Jewish law, Islam covers all the Seven Noahide Laws and therefore religious Muslims are considered "Righteous".

It looks like to me your just fishing for similarities.
If a person follows a moral life chances are they will be adhering to some of the commandments of judaism, christianity and Islam.
Just because you respect your parents doesnt make you a jew.
Just because you have certain prefrences for certain foods doenst make you a jew.
You are looking for evidence to showyourself as a jew where there is none. |

Well, if it ewas during the inquisition, and someone had a list of what they were looking for when trying to find Jews, you might have been burned. |

I really don't know what you mean. Christianity and Islam both copied heavily from the much older Judaism, so perhaps you are referring to traditions being similar between religions? |
