Who cares what does anybody else think, everyone has his thing (this is related to your hobby), All those people that said boring, how much time do you spend on yahoo answers? How many times did someone ask you "are you still on the computer?" maybe your brother he likes the computer or something else. For me i would happily watch the Godfather movies, over and over but alas, i have no time.

While you have no home of your own, no children and so on to take care of you should spend your time how you want because believe me the days will come that you will not get the chance to spend the time the you have doing things you like. x

no you arent boring. you are fascinated with the movie, the true heroism, the characters, the scenes , the story as a whole, our victory that gives us an everlasting feeling of triumph.
i do the same with the serial, KING FAROUK..
i watch each part as many times as possible.
i love every scene, gesture of the main characters , Taym Hasan , Hasanein Pacha, Queen Nazli, Queen Fareeda, Al Nahas Pacha, etc.

Not boring just really into the movie. If you were being boring then you wouldn't be doing anything. Its not like you were making them watch the movie with you so i wouldn't worry about what your brother said.

Yeah gigi, you don't have to ask people, I learned one thing in life don't show your faults openly to others especially those that don't really know you. Sometimes impressions are hard to shake, I once made a comment about myself to gain understanding and to share a moment hoping it to be a way to have another share her moment and instead she used it against me. Saying you said so yourself.

I read also someplace about a girl that got upset when her husband made a comment that hurt her deeply, when she told this to another person, he said and he didn't mention that huge ugly red scar across your face? She replied what huge ugly red scar as she didn't have one. He told her see if it didn't apply to you at all you would be like what, who are you talking about? That doesn't apply to me. So never take anything anybody says to heart unless it is somehow true.

Take care and never let anyone put you down and accept it or think of it as true.

I would find it difficult to live with someone who was so fixated on war, patriotism and martyrdom.
I feel your brother in this instance is justified in calling you "boring" as who can really find pleasure in watching this type of film more than once.It may well 'take your heart", but it is obviously not his idea of entertainment and when you share a home you have to bend to others wishes as well as your own.
For as you say, you have seen the film more than once before.
My reply to your question has no reflection on your right to be patriotic,that quality in you I applaud, but at times your patriotism seems to almost border on fanaticism.
My reply is to do with considering others and acknowledging that they may not share your level of eagerness to keep old wounds open.
All of us, love Egypt dearly but have no wish to turn the eternal flame of remembrance into a bonfire.
Personally I would prefer to search for ways to ensure that peace reigns over Egypt and that no one will ever spill blood in defending Egypt again.
I feel this is a far more worthy manner of acknowledging our soldiers of wars in the past.
You are certainly not a boring personality, from your questions and answers I know you have a sharp mind and wit as well as a caring nature and a gritty determination to achieve.
