i guess that can happen to couples who don't maintain cleanliness
but if that's for clean couples too, then, i wouldn't care, actually
what's the use of health if i'm not gonna enjoy the one i love ?
am i supposed, in order to live long healthy life, to live as a machine ?
nah,impossible, no matter what
i don't want brotherly kisses from my husband :D
of course kisses on the cheeks are very ok..but there are another kisses, which ,if will transmit bacteria & virus, at that point,i'd rather say : "Welcome, dear bacteria and virus, u r most welcomed" loool
You made me draw scenarios :D
every time we wanna kiss, we have to pay a visit to the doctor first to check.
if he wanna kiss, i'll tell him "Go & drink a bottle of concentrated antiseptic first,u filthy bacterial thing"
if he's at work .. w et7'abat fe raso and think he wanna kiss me today when he gets back from work, he has to call me 2 hours earlier ,to get prepared psychologically to kiss this germ.
LOL ... that made me laugh..can't stop drawing scenarios :D :D
LooooooooooL @ all ,that was sooo hilarious =)) |

I think we should stop kissing friends on the cheeks, that's really annoying most of the time and also if he has flu you may catch it.
But married couples can enjoy what they are doing, and don't listen to this stupid advice, "lema to7aremo ma a7la allah" |

LOL!
I find that to be a ridiculous hypothesis. Studies have not shown that to be true. Exchanging saliva through kissing is not detrimental to one's health. If that was true, then people's average lifespan would be 25-30 years.
Bacteria? Humans have bacteria in our mouths but it's not harmful. There are bad and good bacterias. Even yogurt has bacteria. Does that mean people shouldn't eat it or they will die? No. Even humans have bacteria called probiotics which is essential for living.
Virus? Yes, only if someone has like the flu or a cold. However, people have the choice to avoid kissing during these times. Any other virus can be contracted only if one of the couple already has a virus and they have a cut in their mouth. One doesn't contract a virus through saliva. |

I went to the sites provided by Lovely Diamond and I guess I can understand what he is saying, though like many of you, I find what he says very ridiculous. Germs are everywhere, and in spite of good hygiene, oral or otherwise, there are bacteria that still exist and there is still a possibility that you can get sick (that is if you lack a healthy immune system). And when you do kiss someone, you do exchange approximately 1 million new bacteria in each others mouths, but if you are married, you have kind of a tolerance for those germs. I agree with the other respondent--brush your teeth and rinse and gargle with some Listerine and kiss away!!!
P.S. I'd like to know what the Dr. said about a**kissing--how in the world would people in business ever get ahead? ROTFLOL!!!! |

It can also transfer through many other ways including:
- Touching
- Breathing
- Talking
We see many reports and researches about benefits of certain things like Coffee, Tea, Alcohol,...etc. And these look on one side of the matter, it only brings one piece of information like for example "Coffee reduces the risk of Kidney Cancer" but they don't bring the overall effect and teh extent of it. Alcohol may have a benefit but the overall effect is damaging.
Unfortunately people believe anything in the media.
But this one is really weired |

Well we have been surviving for thousands of years with kissing and it is such an intimate thing between a loving couple. Why should it be stopped.
If we stopped doing everything that doctors warned us about, then we'd have really boring and dull lives. |
|

Lanie M
 |
what? that doesnt mean we should stop doing it. we might as well stop doing anything fun from eating at restaurants to riding roller coasters. |
|

micmic
 |
he is crazy |
|

Aha!
|
Very very very stupid. Maybe he doesn't like to kiss his wife because he doesn't love her so he wants everybody else to suffer like thim |

"What do you get when you kiss a guy?
You get enough germs to catch pneumonia.
After you do, he'll never phone you.
I'll never fall in love again."
I wonder if Betty Buckly swore by this verse XD idk if i do |

Diseases can spread by other people's saliva. Kissing can cause diseases to transfer. Just get your partner checked by a doctor. If he/she doesn't have a virus, you can go on with your love life. |

Do they even toothbrushes in egypt and since when does some old guy tell a grown man and women what they can and can't do in their marriage. All you have to do id brush your teeth three times a day and you won't have to worry about bacteria or any kind of infection. So the doctor should seek a second opinion |

Aunt Doobie

That's why we use toothpaste and mouthwash. He's on the right track. Lots of married couples do avoid it. |

i agree in case of foreigners but not married couples |
|

he reigns. =D
|
Well yeah in EGYPT that might be a good idea considering that it is disease infested... but as far as doing the right thing, it's definitely okay... God said that "going all the way" was okay to do with your spouse, so why not plant one on them too? |
