Ayiza

Are SA men cry babies?

Don't you think a crying man is the most pathetic thing ever.
This crime situation in the country is turning grown men to cry babies.
I saw a man in e-new who got high jacked and the the tracker company saved him and he was crying damn that was bad.

No, I don't think so. I have seen alot of men cry in my line of work and if they didn't cry, I would have to wonder if they had a heart or not. Men have feelings too and it does not mean that they are any less of a man if they cry. Maybe if more men cried we would have less violence? I know that some men cry out of anger and frustration at not being able to do anything about a situation that has deeply affected their lives or their families. Have you never cried at all, Ayiza? You should try it sometime, and you'ill still be a man after that! Maybe even a stronger one!

Haai... nee, blommie

Stop being so judgmental. I have brought many men to tears.
So be careful.

Men are also allowed to show their emotions you know. A Hi-jacking is a traumatic event, I don't blame him in the slightest.

I find that it is only men who are insecure in their self esteem or sexuality that look down on expressing emotions. It takes a strong man to let the world know how he feels!

Dude , the guy probably thought we was gonna die or never see his family again - worried about who was gonna support them,etc- it was probably tears of joy from being saved - its not pathetic to give in to your emotions at times unless you have a heart of stone, Being hijacked aint no joke its scary as hell.

Come on , have you been hijacked ? I am not saying that I would cry ,but give the guy a break !

The poor guy had probably a reason to live, unlike the hijackers who should need a reason to be still alive.

I bet you you will cry & P!$$ your pants if a gun was held against your head and you see your life, family and friends flash before your eyes...

Its quite attractive when men cry, Its good to have a man that can show emotion - I dont want to be married to a tree.

I dont think they are?
wats wrong with men crying?

I was a member of St James and was there on the night of the infamous St. James massacre. I bullet just missed me by inches. Believe me, I wasn't laughing.

What's pathetic is the idea that men have no emotion. We do. Deal with it.

Aw come on Ayiza... if some nutter had a gun against your head mf'wethu you telling me you act like Rambo?

No way dude!

Either way, I see no weakness in crying (under correct circumstances of course). The first time (and last) I saw my dad crying was after his mom had died.... I didnt find it pathetic. It told me that he'd loved her deeply and wanted to mourn because he'd lost a part of him...

When I first saw my fiance cry, (after he'd hurt me and I was crying)... I knew it crushed him to see me in tears, thats why he also cried and I knew this man loves me deeper than any man had ever loved me... (It made me want to caress and do so many things to him.... "yes it did turn me on")

So really... I see nothing pathetic, unless he's got a flu and is wailing about his aches and pains....

Otherwise, men are also human... and not crying would be abnormal. Its part of nature its meant to occure...

I had a friend who owned a restaurant in Obs Cape Town, he was burgled one afternoon and shot through the head point-blank range.

He didn“t have time to cry.

From experience I do know that the ones with the biggest mouths end up crying the most.

cakes4africa
There“s nothing wrong with crying, be it man or woman. The release of tears release hormones that help one cope with situations like this better. So, booh-hoo to you.

Everyone reacts differently after shock some cry, some get angry, some go into shocked silence, what would your reaction be brave heart.

No I don't think men that cry are big babies. We actually need more men who do. Showing a softer side to themselves is very sexy and attractive. I love a strong man who can cry when the situation calls for it.

Certainly the great African hero of "the struggle" Tokyo SexWhale is. You should read his history. When he was arrested by a 19 year old White policeman he burst into tears and cried like a baby. Some fecking hero!

I ve found in the past that SA men are actually more masculine than most countries men,but I do love when a man is not afraid to show his sensitive side.
As long as he doesn't cry more than I do in general(and that doesn't happen very often) then its fine - wont bother me at all.
Sometimes it takes a real man to show his emotions.

ha, at least the guy has some emotions. sheesh, like he was to know what was gonna happen when he got hijacked. did you know that there are men everywhere that cry, not just in SA?

I think you are the one with the issues. Anyone who is crying for a genuine reason - and fear is definitely a genuine reason - has every right to cry. Male or female.

The thing is why does it bother you so much?
