Hi, I also live in England and am feeling a bit homesick today. I have been so excited over the sunny days we have had lately. I hate the cold but I can cope with it as long as it isn't dark. In the winter its the darkness that really gets to me. I have been here nearly 9 yrs but am planning to move back in 2010. So we are counting every penny at the moment. It doesn't matter how many years I live here I will always call South Africa my home. How long have you been here? I came over on my own and found my first 6 months hell, but it got better after that. The worst for me now is just before I go home for a visit and just after I came back. We have a garden now and last summer was the best one yet in England, we had a braai and friends over every weekend the weather permitted. You will just have to keep your chin up because through all Englands faults it will teach you such a great acceptance of other people and their differences. Hope you feel better soon!
