Are women driven by emotions and men by logic? Is our brain made differently?

There is NO doubt that we are wired differently....women were created to have a different role ....to be the nurturers , carers . This requires a different skill set to men who were created to be the providers....hunters !
The reason people are screwed up these days is that roles have been reversed /altered & our natural instincts & physiology can't cope.

edit.....Some might say that women are driven by hormones & men by testosterone !

Listen, as a man, I'll be the first to tell you that we are not "driven" by logic ;p

We have perhaps more reliability towards rationale....and stereotypically less affected by emotions. Some women may even consider a man "cold" emotionless because of it..........but I wouldn't go as far as saying Logic is our drive.

Women, I think, are more driven by emotions; difference being that their emotions and instincts are more accurate than men's are...

Our brains work the same way; its just our environments and utilities are different

I think both have the same amount of logic and emotions, but women tend to get more affected by emotions as opposed to men.

Most women are more emotional then men but not all. I am a woman and I know men who are more emotional than me. Im more rational and logical. Everyones brains are wired differently. Can also be affected by the way they were brought up as a child. I grew up with 2 brothers so maybe thats why I seem more masculine than other women. Im not a lesbian, by the way! lol

Very nice question...well actually we both have the same brain but the wiring is different. This is why men and women do things differently and why the priorities are different for each sex.
But you can't say that men have more logic and women are emotionally driven...it depends on the "case"...men are very EMOTIONAL when it comes to sports or politics and women tend to over analyze every single signal in a relationship.

There's a great book I've read a few years ago by Dr. Gray : " Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus"...it explains a lot

As far as I know, brain is almost the same. It seems the use of that brain is the difference. Yes women most of the time driven by emotions even if they don't feel that.

Women's & mens brains ARE different. At birth, a mans brain undergoes a hormonal 'bath' that severs the 2 hemispheres, causing men to only be able to utilize one side of their brain at a time. A womans' brain does not undergo this chemical washing process. Women can use both hemispheres at the same time. This is why guys are so much more compartmentalized than women. A woman can arrive at an answer quicker than a man, but won't be able to explain how she arrived at that (correct) conclusion. A man will take longer to reach the same answer but he can explain his logic in arriving at the answer.

The answer to both of your questions are Yes. Because we men will usually go on logic first then maybe emotion. As far as the women, you would be better to answer that one on which would come first. I do also believe that our brains are made differently because of this and other ways we both act. Masculine, Feminine, etc. But I do believe we were both created Equal!
