Well, I'm certainly totally in love with at least one of Egypt's people. :)

Egypt has always been on those "Places I want to see before I die" list, and While I am glad I will have an even better opportunity to get meet her and her children and love her, I didn't plan on marrying an Egyptian at all.

Yes it is absolutely possible and plausible to fall in love with a country. I have fallen in love with each country I have visited, and my home and life and even my language reflect that.

Amr Diab is the hawtness, I agree completely.

Egyptian Arabic is the most widely known and understood dialect of Arabic. Movies, music and television all use Egyptian Arabic. I absolutely suggest having a Live speaker with you to walk you through the pronunciantion. I can now hold very brief polite conversation in Arabic, and that's very much thanks to having a live speaker and lots of repetition.

Of course, I love learning from my habibi (Beloved, sweetheart) even though some of the sounds are difficult for me to make. But he and his friends all think it is too cute (helwa) when I say "Ahlan".

But Egyptians are all cute anyways. I'm still working on making the perfect ful medame (fava beans) for breakfast. Hopefully I'll have it nailed by the time I'm married.

well thank you , but what do you mean by the Egyptian language, do you mean our original language which ended as coptic language,,, or do u mean the Arabic Egyptian which is different than the arabic spoken by the arabs but very close to the classic Arabic of novels and newspapers,,,
