I do not think these two words can be used against each other. I think to be romantic is realistic. Far too many people do not look at the little things in life. for instance, we look at money or irrelevant things. People are starving and being murdered and others sit and wonder what color should I dye my hair. To be realistic is to understand all aspects of life. To be Romantic means that you chose to live a life of love and this seems to stimulate your soul. Sometimes people look for instant gratification rather than to really see the relationship at hand. Sometimes we are blinded by the things we want rather than the very thing in front of you.
