i smoked heavily in my youth and gave up when i was about 27, then didnt smoke for many years. went to egypt and started again...... everybody smokes in egypt ............ but only a few per day. gave up again after about 2 years. that was 2 years ago. i prefer no one to smoke, it is not a good idea for so many many reasons.

I'm an ex smoker.
I quit it more than 10 years ago, and have kept without smoke since that.
But, my husband smokes, and I dont care so much if I have good ventilation in the room. What I really hate, is that he smokes his last cigarette in the bed..
That bothers me too much...and in spite of i keep asking him not doing it, still havent get it.

I don't like or dislike smokers if they smoke or not as I use to be one. I just like people who respect and care for others when they smoke. I use to do that always. It's not only by words, it means a smoker should be able to stop smoking if there are kids in the room, a meeting, someone who can't stand the smoke.. etc.
Also people who throw aches anywhere I dislike them.

smoker, then non smoker, then smoker, then non smoker, and back to smoker. i know that what i do is very stupid. causes nothing but problems down the road. once you start its hard to stop as you can tell. the only reason i have relapsed is because of close family and friends passing away and for some reason it just calms me down. i am around smokers all the time and it doesnt change my opinion of them.

and i don't like smokers because they know the danger they are in but still ignore it... i feel that they are ignorant but in denial of their fragile health risks they're heading to!

I've never even tried a cigarette. So I guess that makes me a nonsmoker. If given the option, I would stay away from smokers because I don't like the smell. But I also don't chose my friends based on that - so some of my friends do smoke.

I'm a non-smoker. My husband and father both smoked at one time, but have since quit. I like both smokers and non-smokers. I just don't like smokers who smoke when I am trying to eat, that does bother me. I think all restaurants should be smoke free, but bars should remain havens for smokers. You should not have an expectation of smoke free when you enter a bar.
