Hi Cheri
I have the same sentiments as you , Im not afraid to grow old , it is however inevitable , and we have to face it (hopefully later rather than sooner)
My only concern is a s you said, i dont want to ever be in a situation where i cannot fend for myself and have to rely on others.
As it is i become frustrated when i cannot do something myself.. |

It's not that I'm scared of becoming old, it's more a fear of becoming old without actually living. I'm turning 22 next week and it freaks me out to think that one third of my life has already been lived and I barely have anything to show for it. |

I'm afraid of growing old without my husband....I would like for us to grow old together and travel and enjoy life and when the time came for us to leave this world, I would like for us to go together. My parents were married for 47years and died two months apart. My mom could not live without my dad. I do not want to be alone in my old age. |

No I am not but my hope is that I stay healthy and mobile. Would still like to do things around the house and play my round of golf. |

I used to be, but not anymore.
I have the most wonderful person in my life, who recently told me that an elderly friend used to say he wakes up with an old body, but when he looks in the mirror, he still sees a young man.
I am stuck at 24. No matter that I am almost 32, in my heart I am 24, and that is not going to change for a very long time.

yes, very. I always tell people I'm still 22... it's my ID that's lying. I'm only 28 now, but am sh!t scared of becoming old. There's not enough time as is to do everything I still want to & have as much fun as possible. |

Oh yes, I always have been. Just the thought of getting gray and wrinkled or having to take medication. I'm petrified. I know it's life and I should'nt worry, but I can't help it. As far as feeling or acting old, no way. I am going to be a rockin old lady. |

Yes, somewhat. I don't like the idea of losing my youth... of my health starting to decline, etc. It freaks me out, really. |

Don't talk about that, you make me scarred! (Did you see the look on my face?) |

I am not afraid to grow old, as long as I am a healthy old. I don't want to be sitting in some wheelchair or laying in a bed in a nursing home. I think quality of life is much preferable then quantity of life. |

I have my moments, sometimes I'm sh!t scared of growing old and sometimes i even imagine myself as this middle age successful woman.
But right now I'm with Sins, I will be in my early 20's for a very long time! |
