Money doesn't play a big part in my life.
I have been richer and I have been poorer and neither affected my life much.

I classify myself as content with what God gave me.

Of course if God decides to give me a private jet, a holiday house in the south of france and a healthy bank account I won't do much protesting.

I eat,i buy what i want,i live under a shelter,so this to me i find myself rich,and i thank God everyday!!

I am perfectly contented with all that we have ...our needs aren't great & at our stage of life we are looking to simplify our lives not clutter them with "things ."

We strive to honour God in all we do , to share of our resources ,finances , talents & time & have been blessed in great abundance .

That doesn't mean we have financial wealth , but our wealth is our family & friends .

its fine now, I strive for more so I could have financial security I just started work 4 months ago and I'm still 23 and when I get the MA and PHD then I well be very happy

I have to work for living, and I'm ok with that.
I have everything in life...health...a family..friends...a job...can travel from time to time...and my family in Lebanon category??
What else a person can ask???

Depends on what you consider as rich... I have seen so much misery in many places of the world that I must say that most of us sitting in front of our PC are rich...
In Gambia I saw a whole family of 14 members living in something they called a house... sleeping on the floor and this old man turned out to be much younger than we all thought... 3 women, 10 children and the husband... no electricity, no water, the children didnÂ´t have any shoes, torn clothes... no money to send them to school... all they had was a thin cow, 2 goats and a donkey which they used to give a ride to us - the fat and wealthy tourists.
Sometimes when I get angry for some stupid reason, thinking that I should earn more money or feel depressed because I would like to have more money to spend on things like clothes, travel and so on...... I force to think of the poor children I have seen there with NOTHING... but do you know what was strange?? All these people wherever we went where always smiling...

I don't know anyone who doesn't want MORE, but in general I am happy enough with my financial status. I took a cut in pay when I moved to a new position, even though it was within the same company... but the learning and growth opportunities make it more fulfilling.

Like many people, I would like more money just so I wouldn't have to worry about where the money to pay my bills was coming from. What I would really like is an investment portfolio that was varied enough and profitable enough that I would not HAVE to have a job.

But, on the flip-side, I would go insane if I didn't have a job or a project to do / that needed to be done.
