20 years ago I dated a girl, my first love, Margo.
We broke up after 2 years, my heart was broken too.
She moved away.
During the years I thought of her so many times.
She lived in my mind my soul, I could see her smile, could hear her voice, even after I was married.
Then two months ago I saw her in a store, she changed so, my dream is gone.

i do have a certain "longing" sometimes but not to the actual girl ... to the "feeling" .... i still see her sometimes and she doesn't move anything in me .. but sometimes i tend to have a weak moment (once a year or so) ...

yes, i still think about him here and there but i have to accept the fact that our paths have seperated since 5 years. Things change, people change as time changes. What can we do. I know its real hard getting over it but thats life; nothings simple. Nonetheless, hes on the other side of the world now. Feels wierd and incomplete. Good times they were back then

Trust me you will get over it. I was attached to mine for 13 years until he did something so heinous I realized he had no right to be my first or any love in my life because it became clear he never loved me and all 13 years were built on a lie.

yeah..i married him...even after he cheated on me with 5 underage girls while i was 7 months pregnant with his baby..some say im stupid but were working it out..

Nope.. Got over her, even though her and I were together for 5 years, it didn't take that long for me to get over her. I got my wife now and my daughter on the way.. I never looked back, you can only move foward once you let go of the past. Or else you'll be stuck on the past and you'll let the great woman pass you by... It takes time but it shouldn't take that long.
