I spend my today's always thinking that tomorrow can be better, but helping a bit for that becomes true.
I'm the kind of person that expects always a better tomorrow........and shall do it, till my last day.

I don´t think I fit either profile as I live today in a normal way ... trying not to struggle too much ... hoping that tomorrow will be a better day and I shall not need to struggle either ... dreamer!!!
Now my dear husband is the second type, working ever so hard for a better tomorrow, which is good for a man but on the other hand ... he doesn´t get to enjoy as much of his present either ...

i think i do both, depending on what kind of mood im in, like if im having a bad day, i just do what i gotta do then think tomorrows another day, but if im having a great day, i just say screw everything that im supposed to do, i do what i want.

I once read in a book a statement that says:

'everything we do in the 'now' is what we think is going to make our future selves happier or better off'

so in some weird way, both types are actually one type!

Hmm... definitely the first type but don't stop working hard either. Have learned to appreciate the present and find happiness in small events, which accumulates to life!

Living one day at a time and having the best out of it and the future automatically some how gets planned as you go. When in School we had a book in our course called "The Pearl' by John Steinbeck (which I recommend to every one to read)

It gave a very interesting perspective on live... one of it was that if you want some thing too dear and too much then the gods may not to give you that... so, never crave for something too much or at least pretend not to crave for it and you will some how get that.. and to some extent I believe in that.

Life is NOW (present)... Past is gone and future as Aussie said is not guaranteed... So, get the best of the present to have good memories in future and future will be ok if do your things right in the present... : )
