are you for real? Don't be eating anything while you enter a religious place...even if you're not religious it's called respect for others. I'm not Jewish and I know that... |

It is rude to enter a house of worship while eating.
But if you already ate pork, and then you want to enter the synagogue, i think nobody will complain. You don't have to be Jewish to enter a synagogue. And if you are not Jewish, you don't have to obey Jewish ritual laws.
I have been to Bar Mitzva ceremonies in synagogues, they knew I was not Jewish, and nobody asked me about my diet. |

Do you mean in general, or if you have a pork chop in your mouth when you do it?
Either way, physically you prob can bust in, but I don't know if they'll be too happy about it. |

yes you can, but better still, walk to the mosque with your Danish bacon sandwich and Lurpak butter, go through the door a prayer time, keeping your shoes on and shout "who wants a bite"
Send me the video :-) |

Why would you want to? Would you enter a church with a t-shirt telling the true history of Jesus or would you walk into a mosque with a live pig and shouting what Mohammed (cbuh) did to a six year old girl? Your question shows a lack of decency and a an extreme lack of maturity. |

Sure you can, if I was you I'd share, when they get done with you go visit the nearest mosque, in the mosque be sure and tell the people what you are eating.
And I thought racism is a big taboo in Denmark.

Seriously, don't.
Why would you bring dead pigs to a holy place? |

Come on you know you would rather kill a whale than a pig.
Of course you can do it and give the crowd a laugh as you lay there bleeding.
God hates liars. I confess I do too. |

Most synagogues only allow kosher food in. They don't want anything without kosher certification to be in the synagogue because of the rules of keeping kosher. If you really feel like it, you can get some great tasting fake pork products that re certified kosher. |

if you mean you're a pork eater generally - i see no problem
if you mean you want to enter to a synagogue while chewing on a pork sandwich informing people what it is - no, it's not a good idea.
you won't risk anything doing it, but you'll offend people.
but anyway, we're in israel used to strange behavior from tourists.
i'll give you one such example:
in Jerusalem in the time of passover Jewish stores don't sell hametz.
not all stores take out product with hametz, some just cover the shelves with canvas completely, using nails or something to lock it.
a woman (the wife of a BBC reporter)
decided to buy a product with hametz in it.she could go to an arab store - she lived half a mile from the arab neighborhood but despite her being a pro-palestinian never entered it.
so she went to a jewish shop, ripped out the canvas that covered the product she wanted and yelling "I AM NOT A JEW, I BUY WHAT I WISH" went to the cashier. well, the cashier was completely shocked by this behavior but she sold the woman what she wanted. |

I don't see why not. A jew can hold pork, touch pork. He is forbidden to eat it. If there is nothing else to eat, he is allowed. |

Make sure it is in a plate covered though... when you get inside eat it. |

is thi a stupid question or is this a stupid question - you danes have already pissed off the muslims, better keep the jews on your side as between them the arabs and jews have all the money in the world! |

I don't think they will notice. I cannot tell what kind of meat people are eating from a distance, unless it is bacon. You could always lie and say it is vegetarian bacon!
Only kidding:) |

Yes...most shuls you can eat pork, because eating pork isn't allowed only if you keep kosher. Pretty much all shuls you can, because not all Jews keep kosher. The only ones i would think not is an ultra orthodox shul, because pretty much every single ultra orthodox Jew keeps kosher. |
