as for the main question. NO it wouldn't work there is to much revenge and hostility between the 2 factions it will never work someone has leave its the only way to live in peace. if Israel comes with a peace offering and reconstructs home and gives the Palestinians a chance and excuses for its mistakes the Arab people might say. "wow they aren't as much as an Asshole as we thought" but then again there is to much hate and revenge so it might not work out. |

How can Jerusalem be a capital to the Palestinians when Israel are bulldozing down their homes with the excuse that they want to build a perk there. Its odd that not one Jewish home has ever been demolished in that city Why ? . I guess that says it all. Israelis do not want any arabs in "their" capitol |

If the situation was approached in like this 60 years ago, and houses and if land was not sold by crooked owners. Then the Palestinian people would never have had a reason to resist the European Jews from moving in. If they could have just brought what was really available to live on, then they could have made their way to the better spots gradually. Without moving Palestinians to the camps.
Jew and Muslims lived in peace in Palestine before the Europeans moved in.
I found some really nice videos on some history of Palestine before Israel and shortly after Israel. The last video is a song sang by many from many countries in honor of Palestinians, with pictures that are forgotten by many.
Hamas did not exist in those days, so what excuses did Israel have then? This is the reason the Palestinians are Terrorist.
If i lived their life, i would be a terrorist too. Braking the salience. Silence is what it is. We are shielded from this information. |

Well in Israel there are many Arabs who live very peacefully with the Jews and are very happy.Jerusalem will always be Israels capital,it will never change.Been that way for obver 3000 years,With regards to forming one big state with the Palestinians, that will never work, Given the historical mistreatment of minorities, especially Jews, in Arab lands, this idea would be a recipe for the persecution of Jews (and Christians).One proponent of the idea of a one state state suggested that an international force would protect the Jews, but no leader would entrust the fate of the Jewish people to such an unreliable guarantor. More important, if advocates of 1 one state acknowledge that Jews would need protection in such a state, what is the basis for believing this is a solution to the conflict? |

No, because it would effectively be a Jewish state with a permanent Jewish majority, so democracy, or at least "majority rule" democracy would not work. It would permanently exclude the Palestinians from power in their own country. It would need some kind of power sharing executive. Even though this would include everyone, it would still leave the minority marginalised, and alienate their community.
The one state solution is a good idea. So long as it does not include the Israelis. |

Both Israelis and Palestinians live in one state (Israel) and have the same capital, Jerusalem. Israel does have a significant Arab population, you know; and one of its official languages is Arabic.
It depends entirely on the willingness of those who are to live together.
I think, though, that a majority of people in West Bank and Gaza are not willing to live in one state with Israelis. |

After the Israelis killed so many Arabs to steal(NO ENUMERATION) their land and CONTINUE doing so-they would never want to see a MAJORITY Arab country-THAT IS WHY THEY ARE BUILDING ILLEGAL JEWISH ONLY SETTLEMENTS, bulldozing Palestinian homes and killing the owners.If they annex the West Bank and Gaza strips, Israel would INSTANTLY BECOME A MAJORITY ARAB COUNTRY, which it will anyway, in less than 30 years. The must implement Phase II-the Nazi Israeli Arab solution-Gas chambers? or kill them all looking for non existent terrorists under the guise of national security.They want a Jewish MAJORITY country and can only do so by eliminating the Arabs-the Israelis will not do so oherwise.

Jews and Arabs already live together in one state and Jerusalem is their capital. 23.6% of Israel are Arab-Israeli citizens.
The problem is with the Arabs/Egyptians/Syrians that refused to accept a democratic government in 1948, who suddenly started calling themselves "Palestinians" in 1967, and have demanded yet another Arab country to go along with the other 22 in the Middle East where they can once again force the Jews to live as dhimmi, pay the extortion tax required by Islam, and dictate to them how and where they can live, what they can own, and how they can practice their faith. This is how it was before the Jews were given back their homeland (The Holy Land) so they could be self governing again. This is also how it is today for the few Jews that have been allowed to remain in any Arab country since 1948.
Today these Arab-Palestinians claim that was "living in peace"?? The only thing peaceful about it was their expectation that the Jews would live in peaceful submission to Islamic rule.
So the 1 state solution is absolutely out of the question. |
