I woke up this morning healthy and in one piece
I was kind to someone who is always picking a fight with me
I have 2 wonderful kids and a great wife that puts up with me all the time
I have great friends on and off the net. one of them always gives me hope that people are good and kind and will not let you down. Friends like you who are pleasant and funny and at the same time mature enough to know what friendship means. even if it's between a guy and a gall......there I said it. I hate it when people put their own thoughts into other peoples actions.

There are countless blessings but I think that what my grandmother always used to pray for is among the most important. She always used to say ya rab satrak wi 3afwak wa ridak. Ilsatr and Ilsi7a ... of course family and friends.

i have made it this far.
i don't have many friends, but the ones i do are very loyal and love me so much.
i am not hungry anymore.
i am very far from the one i love, but ISA we will be together so soon.
I lost my mom and brother, but at least i had them for as long as i did.
i had struggles, but i made it out in not too bad of shape.
i used to be alone so much. i have some one who love me for me, and accept my faults.
i used to be very poor. but i finished college and i have a job.
i am able to love, some people are cold and have no heart.
i am a work in progress.

I know exactly what you mean. Sadly we really don't have to look very far to realise just how blessed we are and how grateful we should be even when life seems to us to be getting a bit of of our range of comfort. .
When you see a refugee or the image of a face that so clearly shows the utter despair and turmoil the person is going through, we should pause for a moment and say "There but for the grace of God go I".
To loose everything and everyone you hold near and dear, even your identity is something thankfully very few of us have ever come near having to face and ISA it will remain that way.
O know its something i have thought about and I really wonder if I would have the strength and will to get through something so devastating.
But I also believe that inside each of us there lies an unknown quantity of strength and resolve that comes to us in our
darkest hours, and it is from this we find the reason and the ability to come through and face another dawn.
Friends are truly among one of the greatest blessings in our lives and it is very true that no man is an island.
As much as we may like to think we are free spirits and don't really need anyone, the reality is we do.
Sometimes it is not until you feel you are loosing something that you realise just how precious it is to you.
I feel so blessed to know I always have two of the sweetest and most loyal and understanding sisters anyone was ever blessed with, who I can truly and proudly call my friends.
