I have to be careful what I say here..LOL...there are 2 stories but I'll tell you the one Aussie knows..LOOOOOOOOOOL
I had lessons with an instructor but all my bad habits..like speed and dragging other cars came from my husband...but I am reformed..LOL

I am self taught ....back in the days when tests were very basic & trust me , they don't come any more basic than they were in Darwin in the ' 60s....
I also am very good at driving people nuts ! Once again self taught but I am very gifted in this area...

My dad taught me........in a truck. LOL
He said that if i was able to drive a truck, I was able to drive any car .
My dad owned a transportation company, and then there were many trucks, so he decided to do it that way.
I was 14. and couldnt get my licence till 18.

yeah.. when i was in Lebanon this summer my dad's friends taught me how to drive (my parents can't because they will start yelling lol) and when i came back to Canada i took driving lessons (i had to)

so i guess i'm an ok driver

I always drive.......................drive people crazy! Lol. Joke. I can drive if I am given a chance to do it. Because I have seen so many people drive. I have learn a lot.

my dad started the job then my hubby a little but at the end i had to rely on an instructor who actually helped me a lot.but i can only drive automatic.

iam an ok-driver .. not great .. i believe that driving is a talent .. some people have it .. some don't .. so even that i don't drive a lot (1 month per year and never drove more than 10 miles outside Baalbeck) i have good reflexes and basically very attentive ..

i can only drive Automatique .. and i did my test on Automatique loool .. dad attempted to teach me but he was always yelling that i ended up leaving the car and walking home .. then he got me into a driving school for 5 lessons just 'cuz they can fix it so i can do the test on their Automatique car ...

iam planning to learn how to drive with normal gear soon, in the spring when my friend has time to teach me on his car ...

yes I can, I learned it because I was working in washing cars,so I was driving them.

No one taught me but I drove once it was ok!!!

I would say I can't drive yet but will learn soon hopefully, when I get some free time sure I will, the day I get my License I would buy a car ;)

My mother did at first, but she was so nervous and yelling at me that I backed up into the house. So, after that my dad was the one to teach me!

My stepfather taught me how to drive. I tried taking lessons from my mom but we were too tense and irritable with each other. I think someone who is patient, calm, and knowledgeable would make a good teacher.

I'm learning right now!! I'm on my L's. My dad is teaching me. You have to pass your learners test first don't forget. Automatic is EASY!!

Can I drive? I can...but you really should be asking "Can you drive well?"

Last time I was behind the wheel, I was 20 feet away from almost hitting my own aunt, and my sister was about to jump out of the car. I'm totally not exaggerating here, sadly, it's very true.

Who taught me? Well, my parents tried, but they gave up on me, so I was sent to scare off the Driver's Ed instructor instead, lol. The first time I was behind the wheel, I was with my mom and literally, 20 seconds into driving, she was yelling, "Hit the break, Hit the break!!"

I taught myself how to drive. First by observing other drivers. Then I got behind the wheel. It was hard at the beginning but it got easier little by little
