Globally, as much as HATE this 'institution' and therefore HATE to say this: but I think a very specific approach to prostitution would make it safer for the ladies as the government could control it more. When it's underground know one can see what's happening with it. Women, especially the younger ones would be exploited less as they'd have access to rights to protect themselves. They wouldnt be at the mercy of 'pimps'/'dames'.

Marijuana as it has been shown by many health studies to have therapeutic qualities and there has never been an actual death that can be related to marijuana use alone.
Alcohol and cigarettes kill many thousands of people every day yet they are still socially acceptable and legal in most countries of the world.
But I could advocate that there should be a restriction on the quantity of marijuana that can be legally possessed.
Much like the laws that have successfully been achieved in Holland with no adverse reaction in social standards,health, crime rate or behavior.

Well..... "Freedom of Speech" in its true meaning and essence is what should not only be legal but appraised and sought after. (Though all over the world, each gov. and country say that it is legal, i don't think it is properly carried out).

On one hand, freedom of speech is not that sketchy words and phrases that are used in Egypt nowadays, there are too many taboos and red lines not to be crossed....... On the other hand I also hate the people who abuse freedom of speech and choose to use this power for slandering and public humiliation and disgrace.

We have to find that middle ground where we can voice our opinions and ideas without being harrassed or arrested or even getting paid for posting ads intead of the truth!!

My honest answer in Egypt it should be sex. Less women will get harassed once the novelty of the law settles down. People will also realize that it comes with responsibility.
Switching to the US, it should be drugs. The excitement and novelty of the situation will wear off once it is legalized. There will be less of a "risk taking", "fun" associated idea.
With both these situations there will be those who will be addicted or misuse it, but there will be less people doing it as it will be legal and the daring aspect of it is not there.
