My dad raised 9 kids after my mom died all by himself . He never once made us feel like we were'nt wanted. He loved us all and tried always to make us know that we were loved . I am sure it was very hard on him .

my dad is in a position where he can get lots of bribes .. but he never took one cent from anybody ...

My Parents taught us good morals and taught us to respect each other and ourselves. I admire my Mother the most because she kept all eight of us together and supplied the necessary essentials to survive,. She sacrificed to maintain a household with little income. She showed her unselfish Love in may ways and taught us principals. Growing up, we all thought we were poor, not being able to afford extras. I know now that It takes more than money to keep a family together. In my adulthood I Thank her and Bless her and her ways everyday ,for it taught us to be humble and frugal, and in these times it is so important.

MANGOMIATA has awesome thighs!
I admire my fathers ability to talk to ANYONE about ANYTHING at ANYTIME. He always has something witty to say even at 3am. He is a great man.

My mom has the determination of a horse. Single mother, recieved none, if very little, support and yet raised three children and went back to college to become a school teacher. Now she has multiple sclerosis, and is still working, even though it's hard for her to get out of bed some days.

I might fight with her, but I have more respect for her than anyone else.

BTW: I'm not lebanese...but I had to answer your question anyway... :-p

My father was the most intelligent, funny, and kind dad anyone could ever have had. My mother was a wonderful teacher to kids who couldn't make it into first grade. I miss them both.

Even though my dad never finished high schol or college, he worked hard and is now a supervisor in a major logistics company. He is a very intellegent man who will do anything he can to help people learn new things, and he works hard to provide for his family.

They're both survivors... although in different categories of surviving..

My mother is never shy about expressing what she is feeling or thinking. She speaks her mind without any fear of embarrassment or judgement.

Plenty to say abou my mum, she worked hard all her life, she is in her 70's now and still running around, cooking, sewing and doing things for her children and grandchildren.
Don't have much to say about my dad, I think he was too self absorbed in his career, social status and hobby - writing poetry- do give parenting any of his time.

my mother forgives me for all or any mistakes she knows me best and loves me anyway. there is never a need to pretend things are better than they are.

in love with an angel...
My dad gave me the best gift I ever got - He taught me to think independently. Use my own brains rather than depending upon family, friends or society to take decisions for me or make rules for me. I'm what I'm because of this gift of his and I'm proud of it and I know he is too! He's also very intelligent and very kind... a little too kind, I'd say, coz people usually tend to take advantage of his kindness. I'd like to take that extra generosity and kindness of his, since I'm in the dire need of some! Just kidding! I'm not that bad!

My Dad really tries to do everything he can to make my family and i happy.

That their smart!

My father is the kindest person I know.

.:*:.Hopeful Mommy Someday.:*:.
My mom is the strongest person I know. She stays strong for everyone. I had a still birth and it was then that I knew what being a mother was all about. She was so great to me. She was my rock & I love her to pieces.

My dad can be the toughest guy in front of everyone but if it is something that has to do with his baby girl (me) he can turn into the biggest baby, and it's sweet. I love him so much!

Sure... My dad was a very honorable and honest person. I admire him for that. He had a very keen sence of equinimity and I try to copy that in things that I do.
