London's day of shame but the residents of London had nothing to do with it. It was a decision of the Communist Mayor Red Ken Livingstone who has been making a public fool of himself for years. The Times and Telegraph Newspapers have many letters of objection to this thug having a Statue erected in his name but maybe it is the start of a Rogues Gallery in Parliament Square. Then they can "honour" Mandela's heroes like Saddam Hussein,Fidel Castro,Yasser Arafat, Mao Tse Tung and Pol Pot.
At least the pigeons will be able to s hite on it at every opportunity.

There is also a statue of Captain James Cook in Hawaii, on the spot he got killed...but the bushes are so dense that you can hardly get there...and once you made it, it is full of graffiti. So, why are they putting up statues and not taking care of them later? Just can't understand their mentality at times.....

The statue is a concern and why in the UK ? More concerning is the Pastors responce to this question. He states there must be no winners in a society and we must all be equal. I fully support this concept, lets start now and do away with BEE. We will all be equal, long live equality and freedom!!

I have to agree with you. It is very shame full. They are making a monster a hero, giving him the peace award. The British people are very narrow minded and they only know half of the story. The people of London made no such decision. It was Livingstone and the usual suspects. Doubtless the people will have to pay for it though.

It is an absolute disgrace and a truly black day in the history of the British empire, to have fallen this far from their former glory is saddening and shameful as you say.
It must however be noted that a great many were vehemently opposed to the statues erection, but, the liberals as always, made such a fuss together with the vile American, Jesse Jackson with their "racist" finger pointing, that the people of London were in the end forced into capitulation.
