When i was younger I couldn't stand when my parents listened to her music but now Fairuz is one of the few arabic/lebanese singers i actually listen to. Her songs are so beautiful. These are some of my favourites (spelling is probably wrong)

I know everyone loves fairouz so now everyone will hate me when i say I cant stand her lol... Since the day I married my husband he listens to her every morning with coffee and i like quiet mornings so I am always crazy from her

some of her songs and not in the morning... :s play hip hop and rock in the morning is better to me to keep me awake :P

I love Fairoz, simply adore her and her songs. She is a real artist in an age and day that is full of cheap phonies. She is synonymous with Lebanon, when I think of one I think of the other.

I do like her, but I wish she had kept her status of our ambassador to the stars, by keeping the high standard art she used to present (3a hadir el bosta is a great song for late Joseph Sakr, but not for Fairouz - no mater how beautiful the song is)
I think she has lost a lot after the split with Rahbani brothers.

All her songs are great, especially the one talking about great causes. To say the least I am an unconditional fan of the Rahbani's.

well look u gotta admit like her songs have lyrical content and she does have a great voice and the music is great and the songs are quite classical she's good however i cant listen to her for a long time its nothing against her i just cant take classical music for so long the thing is that true she is a national icon and stuff so i guess yea
