Hate is not the opposite feeling of love, cos when you hate someone it means that you still have feelings for this person and even strong ones.... and yes usually it hurts the most when someone you love and trust betrays or hurts you and so you start hating them..... but i am sure given time and a lot of apologies a person learns to forgive and cud go back to loving them again. See as long as there are some strong feelings whatever they may be a person can go from loving to hating and back again.

The opposite of loving someone is indifference, being and feeling indifferent to them and their action shows that there are no emotions or feelings for this person and YES it does happen with time and a long record of intentional wrong doings and hurt.

Yes, i did.
I was once in love with someone who killed himself. I later found out he was Bipolar & he had never told me, & i never had a clue, he always seemed so happy. For a long time i hated him for killing himself, & though i understand more now, i still cant look at photos of him.
I was a terrible thing to do.

I believe if they really hurt you and let you down you could hate them. Because if you really love someone and they let you down or do you wrong its the most painful. You have to really love someone to be truly hurt by them, so I think I believe that you can hate someone you once loved.

If you (or children) end up being badly hurt (emotionally and/or physically injured) in a relationship, you can end up very easily hating (and fearing) a person you once loved. It is human nature to hate someone who seriously injures you.

if you onced trully love a person deeply and you have given up everything for him but in the end, he just fooled you, in the first stages of recovery after the hurt, you will not just hate that person, you may want to curse him....but after months and yrs, you will come to realize that everything happens for a reason and maybe u were never meant to be. and maybe, its much better to let go of the hatred and move on with your life... coz as long as u hate him, it means to say that the love you had for him has never been gone....coz u are still affected by the memory.
