I wish that I had taken time to really talk to my dear old Dad may his soul find peace and know him a a person.
He was 93 when he died in March and I was always meaning to ask him lots of questions about his life as as a young man and about my grand parents who I never knew.
Even though I come from a small family we never really took the time to know each other and then I went off to boarding school when I was 9.
It is not that my parents didn't love me ,I know that now .
They came from a generation of Australians who really find it hard to express their emotions.
So as much as you may find all the cousins and extended family here in Egypt a bit much at times,treasure it, for you are truly blessed.
Through my Egyptian family I have learned the true meaning and the real feeling of family and family love.

I wished to enter the pharmacy program and I did Alhamdullilah!! And now I am in my first year and its so hard on me with so much pressure and tooo much stress, but I have hope that Allah is with me and that isa I will finish and graduate. Ya Raaaaaab!!! Plz make du'aaa for me!!

yes i had a gf in my school days and wanted to marry her we saw each other for 15 years i really loved her and was crazy about her but unfortunately she felt i was not her right choice and she moved on and married another guy. I have never felt so lost in all my life, i still desire her.

From that experience i put all my efforts to achieve my wish and never failed.

We are the ones who decide when we fail or win.

i never give up hope when i have a goal that isnt achieved.
i keep trying till i reach the goal.
the challenge makes life worthwhile.
once my goal is reached, i search for another goal.

Yes, all the time. That is the essence of living, we all keep striving for things and wishing. Some we achieve and some we do not. I keep trying - it is a motto to never give up, specially if it is something attainable.
If it has to do with emotions and feelings of someone - it is really up to the two people, that is something that is human and cannot be helped if and when a decision is made.
Striving for things is a constant battle and challenge that we face...I sometimes love it and sometimes really dislike it.
In some aspects I am still trying to make some of my life wishes happen, and in some they have already been achieved.
I try to never give up hope. I always try and look towards the bright side of life as it has so much to offer.

since the 6th grade,i was longing to be an artist,join fine arts,or be an interior designer...that was my only dream all my life..
for many reasons,mainly it wasn't Allah's will,i didn't go there..it really made me feel aimless,i turned to a machine who just study ,memorize,spell it out in the paper...and that's it.
this was my only passion in life,and it was killed.
so i still try to make it happen?yes and no..i don't like to cling to sth,since i always end up losing it,all i can do is keeping my hobby,but in reality i can not pursue my study after i finish college,because the reasons why i didn't make it at first still remains.
maybe i gave up hope to study it,but i try to not to lose it totally,just hanging to the last straw attaching me to arts.

I have many dreams and some of them are so big, and I always work on them persistently, I never give up hope, may be just for some moments but return to my dream afterwards and have hope again, this is because I trust Allah and trust myself.
