Thank you for posting this question since I was just pondering whether or not to post one of my own that would have probably been deleted right away. However, you gave me a chance here to say what I want.

To all of you in Egypt and the friends in Lebanon as well,
THANK YOU.

When I first started using YA I was really depressed, and lots of times I would cry for apparently no reason at all. However, since I have come to know lots of great friends here and to talk with some of them not only on IM but also in person I have been in a much better mood. Talking to you all and simply following all your personal stories and anecdotes from your Q and A has provided me with great comfort. At times when real life friends were not available I found comfort talking to my friends here on-line. So thank you all from all my heart.

The negative aspect to YA, though, is that it has become like an addiction. You and your stories (including all the sweet love stories going on!) are really keeping me away from my work which really has to be done! But it has definitely been worth it.

Aussie
It has happened ! Not so much cry as get teary....

Why ? Because when emotions come to the surface that's what I do !

If that makes me less of a man , so be it !

Kate

Yes I have, when someone I cared very much for hurt my feelings by some comments made. It brought tears to my eyes upon reading the e-mail I was sent.

JoJo2456!

ABANDONED
lol, i got teary eyed once
on more than one occassion, once out of happiness and once because i saw themost depressing slide show about the Palestinian problem.... it was so sad

but i laugh, smile, and giggle all the time.

Moonrise
i cried online when i saw photos of palestinians at the border waiting for weeks to cross over to go home.some just died while waiting. they had no shelter or means to survive . they borrowed or begged money to get sheer needs. i told myself, why doesnt any of the democratic nations that speak about human rights do something to relieve them. what are they guilty of? is it because they lived and owned houses and territory in palestine , and the israeli pushed them out of their homeland ? is anyone safe in our world when such attrocities take place ? who is safe? what these people undergo is taken lightly as if they desrve it . WHY? this makes me bitter to the point of crying online.

Anissa
Yes about few days ago, i was tormented by personal matters and as i went on and on writing those words i felt overwhelmed and cried.

Red
Yeah...I sure have...but that doesn't really mean anything special...I am a weepy kind of person. I don't mean that I go all out boo-hooing all over the place, but just that I get teary eyed pretty easily. If something is touching, sad or beautiful my eyes get all leaky...

Unknown_Usr
I cried electronic pixel tears.
They filled my screen with asterisk.
It was worse than I had feared.
It filled my drive with such sentiment.

My text messages go unanswered,
You never blog at all,
On-line dating's a disaster,
Your avatar ignores my calls.

Jeez
i haven't cried yet, maybe in future.

"la2 mosh ana el abky walla ana el ashky law gar 3alya hawak"

Yes, that was 2 years ago when I learned that GOD allowed my poor fellowmen to find tidbits of gold and and also when they happened to have a good barangay captain that allowed them to gather the gold in order for them to have money to buy their own food. But then with the help of the man who first discovered the gold, the newly born baby was baptized.
GOD BLESS YOUR PEOPLE.

I agree with Kumara......It happens the same to me, and as Aussie said.....when emotions come to the surface, there are things that one cant avoid.

Oh, sure, especially while IMing someone and having an emotional conversation. But like Kumara, I'm a crybaby in general.

And Mr. Tom, I disagree very much. REAL men are brave enough to cry when they dang well want to. It takes a true wimp to fear disapproval and hold it back.

Sarah B
yes, it was yesterday because of something in family, sorry couldn't tell you but will u wipe my tears?
