All the Egyptians that I know (from hotel staff - hotel owners etc) all consider themselves to be Egyptians, that's what they are at the end of the day & all really proud of it& thres no reason why they shouldnt be coz they are the most friendliest, hospitable humans ive ever met in my life!

No. Most of them consider themselves Arabs.

Ever since the Muslim Arabs invaded Egypt the population has been so greatly filled with those of Arab blood that being considered African is an insult of sorts....

There are Africans in Egypt as refugees from the Sudan and they are considered second or third class people (not even citizens)....

egypt is in africa, but that doesn't mean all of us have dark coloured skin.

I don't think so. I think that they just consider themselves as Eyptians. I'm sure that they know the differnce between the two cultures.

We consider ourselves Egyptians, an Arabic speaking nation (in that way we are Arabs), and North-Africans (therefore Africans)
But in our conversations:
when we say Arabs we usually mean the gulf (kuwait, saudi arabia,etc)
when we say Africans we're usually referring to "the ethnicity"

our religion is Islam 87% and Christianity 13%.
our complexion is unique , majority light brown , minority fair , minority dark.
we are witty , smart , and skilful due to our mixed blood .
