I had a mission for years .............to prosecute criminals and to help the victims. Later I specialised for 8 years in rapists and pedophiles. None walked free .......... and I love the thrill of the kill so much I got addicted to my job....to the detriment of my family. So I had to choose, and I chose my family. My mission then changed, making money and defending criminals, defending the innocent and as for the guilty; trying to get the best sentence under the circumstance for them, but that is going to stop soon, my heart is not in it and I am going to retire. My new mission is simple, I want to be a good mother and a good wife until I die. When one gets older, your passion or mission becomes simpler.

Well, as Commodore has already discovered, missions are not always easily achieved. They also change as oneÂ´s life circumstances and expectations alter.

Heart for Missions

My mission in life is to help people in need, whether planting gardens in South Africa to handing out Operation Christmas Child boxes in Mexico.

I want to make a difference in the lives of people with no hope; I want them to know that there are people in the world at care about their well being. I want to be their advocate when they have no voice and bring attention to their plight.

I would like to take every teenage in the US to South Africa to work in the squatter camps so they can experience what life is like in a third world country---to plant a seed in their heart to help others. For teens in the US to know that they take for granted many things that are luxuries in other countries, that they don't need the latest video game, iPod or iPhone--that they should be happy they live in a nice house with food in the frig, a car to take where they want to go, health insurance to go to the doctor when they are sick and the freedom to speak their mind without fear of being arrested or worse.

All the commercials and videos of starving people cannot compare to seeing it with your own eyes, talking with the people, seeing the saddness in their eyes and building personal relations is the only way to garner long term support. We help one person at a time, it's slow and time consuming but it is effective and we bring more and more people on mission trips to South Africa, the more people we can help.

Yes, Coral, my mission in life is to serve others and attend to their needs, for the rest of my days, nothing more, nothing less. There's alot that I would like to achieve before I die, but it seems as though the chance of doing that, is fading on the horizon.

2. Help my own family.
3. Although I often fail, remember the message of Jesus Christ and spread it.

Agree with many answerers about being a good parent, husband or wife. Not always easy.
I cannot call it a mission, but are trying very hard to live a healthier lifestyle and experience the benefit of it.
There is one mission and that is to bring to my manager's attention that you can do only so much work in a day. Must admit that will take a long time.
