The truth be told by a fellow

Birds certainly can fly in the rain. Their feathers are oily and repel
water. Also, their bones are hollow, so even if they do get a little wet,
it won't weigh them down too much. It's a different story whether birds
LIKE flying in the rain or not!
Though many birds will seek some shelter, during heavy rain. |

Well, I know that birds *do* fly in the rain...but whether or not it is to have a bath, or to get from point A. to point B.?? I guess the only 'being' that would know that would be the bird.

I saw birds fly in the rain but I am not sure are they doing that because they want to have a bath, actually I doubt. |

i dont think they like being completely wet. like their feet is ok, but i dont believe they like their heads and body wet. i've never seen a bird flying in the rain. they prolly hide in trees. i guess if it's sprinkling they might. |

Birds really try to avoid flying in the rain, but they only do this if there is no near by shelter similar of their habitat. But they dont do this to take a bath. |

No, only till they find shelter |
