I have not seen one single action done that would prove that Israel wants peace. All say that the Palestinians did not accept previous plans and that Palestinians do not want peace. The fact is all previous and current plans are in Israels favour only. I don't trust Israel wanting peace no. I believe they are still only interested in gaining more land. Peace! |

Nope. What they really want is all the land between the Nile and the Euphrates. |

No the Israeli leaders do not want peace. They may have their excuse, as pathetic as it is, for killing Palesinians, which is saying that they are defending themselves If they wanted peace then why did they refuse even to go to the negoiation table when the Syrian president specifically asked for peace? Their only excuse was that it is not time. Rediculous. They continue to try to make settlements in the Palestinian territory, which they know farther antagonizes the Palestinians. If they want peace why do they continue to demolish homes, is that a way of defending themselves too? Why are they keeping land with very few and small settlement like Golan? Only to keep problems coming. I think it is very clear that Israel does not want peace. |

Who cares

They just want enough time to occupy the rest of Palestine slowly, kick Palestinian out of their lands and eliminate all the protestors. |

The zionists do not want to be left alone; they want to make war incessantly and that is all their lamentable 60-year history consists of: bloodshed, cruelty and violence. Peace is the last thing they want. They need to maintain a siege mentality and they need to support their self-identity as a warrior nation. There will be no peace in Palestine until the zionists are removed. |

Only until they get the next delivery of weaopns curtacy of the American tax payers.
Then they will be back at their land grabbing.
If they really wanted peace they would have honoured the agreement signed in Annapallis. Which stated NO more houses would be built on the West Bank.
As to ULTRA.. The Muslims can`t be Nazis as the Nazis were of Judaic religion Namely Christian.
BUT the Israelis are now treating the Palestinean Arabs in the same way the Nazis treated them..Did they learn nothing..?? |

it depends on which leaders u are talking about. of course, many of them would rather prefer to have an excuse to continue getting billions of aid from the us, though possibly reducing their casualties. |

zion has proved time and time again that they don't want peace. peace would put an end to the amount of land they could steal. |

When their ambassador to the UN has repeatedly spoken of "the neve-rending war" and projects military campaigns extending up to 75-150 years into the future it is reasonable to suggest that peace is not their agenda. |

After being nearly invaded in 1973, Israel decided that peace with the other Arab countries was the only way they could turn the Israel/Palestine issue from a being a conflict between Israel and all the Arabs into a conflict between just the Israelis and Palestinians, and they succeeded in this after signing a treaty with Egypt, and later Jordan. So to answer your question, they're interested in peace with other neighboring countries but not with the Palestinians. |

No,they wish to fight forever and they will until removed from the area. |

I believe they do, and it is important to note that a "real" peace is one which guarantees a future. Moving out of Gaza in a unilateral move to give land for no assurances backfired and yet it was designed to assuage Arab demands and get peace. This was the 3rd time historically, that Israel moved out of Gaza. Each time, a war followed and Gaza was retaken.
Israel wants peace with partners and has demonstrated an ability to work with countries like Egypt and Jordan when there is a sincere and bilateral wish for peace. |

If Israel doesn't want peace, why did she return the Sinai to Egypt, in return FOR a lasting and genuine peace?
What, you think the Israelis LIKE losing their children to Hamas terrorism?
You think Israeli parents LIKE having to say goodbye - perhaps forever - to their 18 year old children when they leave home to join the army???
If Israel doesn't want peace, then WHY, at Camp David in 2000, and at Taba in 2001, did Israel offer the Palestinians EVERYTHING they had been demanding? Namely:
- East Jerusalem as their capital
- 100% of Gaza
- 97% of the West Bank
Why did the Palestinians reject all that? Answer: because the one thing the Israelis asked for in return was an END TO TERRORISM.
And the Palestinians refused to agree to that.
Do the Palestinians and their leaders, Hamas, really want a real peace? |

Yes Israeli leaders want peace, but no one will let them have
Peace. |

Prime Ministers in Israel are elected primarily on their perceived ability to make peace. Kadima, the current ruling party, was elected on a platform of further concessions to the Palestinians for the sake of peace. In contrast, Palestinian Prime Ministers (at least in the only election thus far) are elected primarily on their perceived ability to make war. Hamas, the current ruling party, was elected on a platform of no concessions to Israel and continued violence.
Israeli leaders really do want peace, but they aren't stupid enough to play meek. |

Do the palestinans? They fire rockets and bombs at us hourly. They put there children in harms way purposly just so people will know it and feel sympathy for them. They do it's true. But they dont act at all like they want peace. So maybe when they do so will the israelis. |

the israeli govt stopped military incursions into gaza bc hamas said they wouldnt negogiate otherwise. israel stopped. hamas has made no promises. time and agian israel has agreed to give the palestinians land in exchange for peace.l most of the time they were turned down. when they werent they were rewarded with dailyt rocket attacks (gaza). so you tell me, who wants peace more? the israeli leaders or the palestinian leaders?
terry m: islam is a judaic religion as well. |

Yes. What would they gain from war? Nothing. Israel just wants to be left alone... |

let's see.
israel has actually signed peace treaties with all the arab countries willing to do so, including egypt and jordan.
the palestinians haven't signed anything with anyone.
and the government of gaza's official position is that they want to see israel gone.
so what are you talking about? |
