Do the jews live in Occupied Palestine just because they have nowhere to go?

Do the jews live in Occupied Palestine just because they have nowhere to go? Is this the only reason they live in Palestine? To a question I asked I got the following answer from a jew

"My whole family came from Europe, I mean the ones who weren't massacred there by enlightened Europeans such as yourself, and so we've not really got anywhere else to go."

The jew has falsely assumed that I am European, which I am not but that is beyond the point here. She has clearly mentioned that they live in Palestine just because they have nowhere to go. Have the jews considered Madagascar?

Brainwashed individuals who never read Quran or Bible can say that God promised them the land:
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AhiIpSl3N2Rww9Ha7wPpV0fty6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20081017032950AAWRfNt&show=7#profile-info-3V5YeR2qaa
Is it possible that, at one point in history, God made a racist promise!!!

______________________________________...

Some other zionists claim historical right to the land!
The historian Shlomo Zand clear this myth:
http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/959229.html

______________________________________...

"The Jewish racial myth flows from the fact that the words Hebrew, 'Israelite', Jew, Judaism, and the Jewish people have been used synonymously to suggest a historic continuity. But this is a misuse. These words refer to different groups of people with varying ways of life in different periods in history. Hebrew is a term correctly applied to the period from the beginning of Biblical history to the settling in Canaan. 'Israelite' refers correctly to the members of the twelve tribes of 'Israel'. The name Yehudi or Jew is used in the Old Testament to designate members of the tribe of Judah, descendants of the fourth son of Jacob, as well as to denote citizens of the Kingdom of Judah, particularly at the time of Jeremiah and under the Persian occupation. Centuries later, the same word came to be applied to anyone, no matter of what origin, whose religion was Judaism. "
By Dr. Alfred M. Lilienthal "What Price Israel?" (1953)

______________________________________...

Again, where were the Jews and the Zionists when their "Eretz Yisrael" was raped and pillaged by the Crusaders? And when hundreds of thousands of Muslims and Arabs died while cleansing their land from the Crusaders between 11th-13th centuries.

Again, what have they made to this land except 60 years of bloody history that they brought...

______________________________________...

zionism made the Jews so confused as they dont even know what the term "Jew" refers to..
Is it a race? Is it a religion? Is it a political group? ........

Let us assume that Palestine belongs to all Jewish people because it is historically theirs!

Does this historical right transfer to other people upon their conversion to Judaism? (which already occurred during the great Jewish Khazrian empire)
http://www.wzo.org.il/en/resources/view.asp?id=140

If a Jew converts to other religion, does he lose this historical right ?
And what if a Jew convert to other religions, is he still considered "Jew"? Just like Hans Herzl, Theodor Herzl's son who was able to convert to Christianity and many other like him...

If the Israeli right of return law apply to the atheist Jews who inherited Judaism from their mothers, then why the right of return law does not apply to Jews who converted to other religions?

Also it should be noted that many Jewish tribes in Arabic countries (including Palestine) converted to Christianity and Islam...

______________________________________...

zionists are foreign body in the middle of Arab land to prevent Arab unity and prevent them from becoming strong like they were for more than 1400 years...

Sory for the long answer...

Edit: Pauli;

The history does not show any battle between the Jews and Crusaders. They were defending their lifes and not the land!!!

Jews stayed with Arabs and Muslims all this time, and they have as much right as anyone else who lived in Palestine. The best example are the Somara Jews from Nablus who refuse to recognise the state of Israel. The real Jews of Palestine were in majority anti zionist at the beganing of the conflict and many of them were killed by zion:

Battle of Cresson - 1187 (Saladin) - Muslims
Battle of Hattin - 1187 (Saladin) - Muslims
Siege of Jerusalem (1187) (Saladin) -Muslims
I can go on if you want...
If Jews defended the city, can you mention in what battle please? Except that they were killed, can you mention one Jewish army?
"ANYONE who resisted the Crusaders was killed. History does show it."
Muslims resisted and fought against crusaders and they won and history shows that...

It was decided by the UN in 1948 to give the jews approximately half the land in that area to establish their state of Israel. The arabs were also given the opportunity to establish their own state but since they were not too happy about losing half their land, they didn't do it. Israeli terrorists chased arabs off the arabs lands and vice versa with the Israeli winning and taking more and more land. Out of the 50% the arabs had at the start, they now have about about 20% left. Further "settlements" on arab land are happening because there are jews who believe that God gave them all this land and that it is their right to go and live there. Inspite of UN having policies against settling occupied land, Israel still does it and they still allow these settlements and protect them with their military cutting the arab communities into many small sections making it hard for people to work, get to a hospital etc. It's not because they don't have enough land in Israel already, they just want to.

I agree. Madagascar is an ideal place to send the jews. They won't bother us we won't hate them.

Very few of the Jews living in Occupied Palestine, live there because they have nowhere else to go. It would be possible for all of them to live in Israel, if necessary. Some live there because they have a committed belief in an historic right to live lands occupied by their ancestors. Some live there because they believe expanding the boundaries of Israel will provide greater security for the state of Israel, and some live there because they can obtain better homes at lower costs in the occupied territories than in Israel itself.

No. At least half dwell prosperously in the United States. Most of the "jews" in Palestine are not really Jews; they are atheists or agnostics who claim - apparently this has some significance to them - to have had a grandparent who practiced Judaism. So the God-given land grant business has little merit being meaningless to the atheist ; it is simply an excuse. They are there because they can use American Jews to pressure the U.S. to lavishly endow their artificial "state". What they call Israel is a cash-cow. They have no other discernible purpose in being there. Every year billions of American dollars flow in and the "jews" live well on the despoiled soil of a land - Palestine - as ancient as recorded history. And a land sacred to two billion Christians and two billion Muslims. Naturally it has been reworked. Much of it bears a striking resemblance to Burbank,California.

Good question. It's not about where they have to go, it's about where britain put them. Before the holocaust theory happened, Jews were causing alot of trouble in Germany and europe altogether. Ever since the time of Moses, Jews have been a problem and have tried to take over the world. Germans sought to end that mess, not by killing them all but by teaching them a lesson. Unfortunately they killed the weak and poor and left the rich and guily alive. After this they wished to expell the Jews out of Europe forever, and at first wanted madagascar, like you said. the government there did not want them so off to Palestine, to the weak and fragile arabs who cant defend themselves. And that's the story of how Israel was promised to the Jews. The end.

Yeah right, there will be no end. Until the Jews give up Palestine and agree to live peacefully under Palestinian authority.

You got it all wrong, it was called Israel for thousands of years, it was called Palestine for such a short time, Arabs occupy Israels Biblical land.

If one would grab a book and do some research, one would realize that the majority of jews in Israel were exiles from arab lands. Also, what is occupied Palestine? Jordan I occupied Palestine as well.

"since they were not too happy about losing half their land, they didn't do it. "

That is incorrect. Palestinian arabs agreed.............but the surrounding countries told them not to. As for your information, 80% of Palestine (the british mandate) was given to Arabs. From what was then proposed to Jews, only 10% was given to the Jews.

Clever Clogs quoting me. Seeing as you're white, you're of European descent whether you like it or not.

Israelis come from Israel and that's where they live. Why should they live anywhere else?

I'm sure Madagascar will be a great place for you - you'll love the weather. Ta-ta!

Paulie
Madagascar? Didn't the Nazis have some kind of Madagascar plan but, with the war not ending quickly as Hitler had planned it was decided that murdering all the Jews would be more cost effective than shipping them across the globe. Oh right they did.

Jews aren't from Madagascar, why would we want to live there?

Where were the Jews during the Crusades?
Jewish communities on the Rhine and Danube destroyed.

Haifa: The Jews single handedly defended the town of Haifa from Crusaders and held onto the besiged town for over a month.

Jerusalem: Jews fought side by side with the Muslims to defend the city and were masacured by the Crusaders for their efforts. Jews, Muslims, and Christians shared the same fate in Jerusalem.

@Shadi: Hope this answered your question.

@Shadi: They were defending the whole town. How is that not defending the land? They were massacured because they put up a defense. Any town/city, like Hebron, Acre, Jerusalem, that resisted the Crusaders met with slaughter. Towns/Cities that surrendered, like Tyre and Ascalon, were spared.
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/798787/posts - the Crusades were about retaking the holy land period. ANYONE who resisted the Crusaders was killed. History does show it.
Medieval Jewish Civilization By Norman Roth
Where are your sources? The only link you have is for how the Jews of Nablus (I am assuming that part was a response to someone else and not me) don't support Zionism and that goes to another yahoo post of yours.

@Shadi: They didn't have their own army, they fought beside the Muslims since they were their subjects. I already stated where: the seige of Haifa, Acre, and Jerusalem. The Crusades wasn't about killing Jews, it was about driving the Muslims out of the Holy Land. Jews and Christians who were loyal subjects fought and died along with Muslims.Anyone who surrendered to the Crusaders lived.

The chronicle of Ibn al-Qalanisi states the Jewish defenders sought refuge in their synagogue, but the "Franks burned it over their heads", killing everyone inside.

Jews fought side-by-side with Muslim soldiers to defend Jerusalem against the Crusaders.Saint Louis University Professor Thomas Madden, author of A Concise History of the Crusades, claims the "Jewish Defenders" of the city knew the rules of warfare and retreated to their synagogue to "prepare for death" since the Crusaders had breached the outer walls.According to the Muslim chronicle of Ibn al-Qalanisi, "The Jews assembled in their synagogue, and the Franks burned it over their heads."

A History of the Crusades By Kenneth M. Setton - Describes the Jewish defense of Haifa.

Jewish residents joined with the Fatimids of Egypt in defending the city. Tancred, who unsuccessfully attacked Haifa, was reprimanded for his lack of success and told that he made "a mockery of the God of the Christians." Once the city fell, the remaining Jews were massacred by the crusading forces

The Muslims are going to have actual battles since they had the army. The Jews and Christians were defenders, ie regular people who took up arms. I am only trying to point out that they helped to defend their homes alongside the Muslims.

What nonsense . The tiny number of Jews living in Israel could Immigrate all over the world with little effort. They don't have to stay there.
It's home for them.
Whether you believe God chose them or not the UN put them there. The same UN you guys like to quote so often.
BTW shadi only a dumb *** would say God made a mistake.
They chose this to be their home and they are willing to die to defend it. They have all the muscle required and the backup the can use when it becomes needed which may not happen at all. They are strong and dedicated.
They all serve their country is some way.
While Muslims cry peace in the daylight and celebrate suicides in the night. Depending on the lunatic fringe as they would say to fight for them. Then disavow their well planned terrorism.
Very few Europeans think like you American punk skinheads. I would not mistake you.

IWIU
God gave that Area to the Jews, the Muslims know that.

But since the Jews were scattered and weren't there for many years, the Muslims moved in, but then God brought the Jews back to that land.

So now the Muslims are mad because they think it's their land, but God never said, since the Jews left, it now belongs to whoever occupies it.

The earth belongs to God, he will decide, and he wants that piece of land to belong to the Jews.

I don't think the Jews would object to allowing Muslims live on their land if they will live peacefully. Then all can be happy.

To answer you, the Jewish people can go anywhere and live where they please, but live in Israel, which is there country and been theres for over 3000 years.does not belong to the Palestinian people and never did..The Jewish people base their claim to the Land of Israel on at least four premises: 1) the Jewish people settled and developed the land; 2) the international community granted political sovereignty in Palestine to the Jewish people; 3) the territory was captured in defensive wars and 4) God promised the land to the patriarch Abraham.Israel's international "birth certificate" was validated by the promise of the Bible; uninterrupted Jewish settlement from the time of Joshua onward; the Balfour Declaration of 1917; the League of Nations Mandate, which incorporated the Balfour Declaration; the United Nations partition resolution of 1947; Israel's admission to the UN in 1949; the recognition of Israel by most other states; and, most of all, the society created by Israel's people in decades of thriving, dynamic national existence.

In the late 19th century, the rise of religious and racist anti-Semitism led to a resurgence of pogroms in Russia and Eastern Europe, shattering promises of equality and tolerance. This stimulated Jewish immigration to Palestine from Europe.

Simultaneously, a wave of Jews immigrated to Palestine from Yemen, Morocco, Iraq and Turkey. These Jews were unaware of Theodor Herzl's political Zionism or of European pogroms. They were motivated by the centuries-old dream of the “Return to Zion” and a fear of intolerance. Upon hearing that the gates of Palestine were open, they braved the hardships of travel and went to the Land of Israel.

The Zionist ideal of a return to Israel has profound religious roots. Many Jewish prayers speak of Jerusalem, Zion and the Land of Israel. The injunction not to forget Jerusalem, the site of the Temple, is a major tenet of Judaism. The Hebrew language, the Torah, laws in the Talmud, the Jewish calendar and Jewish holidays and festivals all originated in Israel and revolve around its seasons and conditions. Jews pray toward Jerusalem and recite the words “next year in Jerusalem” every Passover. Jewish religion, culture and history make clear that it is only in the land of Israel that the Jewish commonwealth can be built.
