it's good to have the ability to forgive people for what they did to u.
but,it's better if u learn how not to make them repeat what they did to u.

I act like an ATM machine. It would forgive you twice for the wrong PIN code, but it will deprive you of the card at the 3rd time you are wrong.
I give people chances but once I am fed up, that's it.

I forgive yes ... how easily depends on the person and on the situation. However, I NEVER forget.

Like Salah said, a person can only take so much. After a certain degree I am not willing to give third and fourth chances. You had the opportunity not once or twice but three or so times and you blew it. Not my problem. I believe in forgiveness, not in habal!

The people i love and my family,.........too easily.......
My friends and acquaintances, well i have this rule that makes things easier for me to live. If i really do care about them then i confront them with whatever they did that made me sad or mad and i wait to see their reaction, if they try to make things better then they care about me as well, if they don't then they don't really care about me and too me this means they r not true friends.

Life is too short to waste it feeling hurt or to remember being hurt either.

Unfortunatley I don't and neither can I forget or put aside something that has been done with ill intention.
I am working on it and it is one of the things I am concentrating on during my prayers through Ramadan, for I really detest feeling that way.

edit: As Hope so rightly says it is far healthier and better to love than burn up your energy with what is in most cases wasted energy in remembering the hurt and letting it burn you up.

When i was younger..i wasn't able to forgive easily..
Now that i've grown up a little and understood that i can make mistakes and hurt people, intentionaly or unintentionaly, i became much more forgiving than ever...

i forgive easily, bec i dont like to breed negative feelings.
i forget the details, but keep the impression so as not to be hurt by the same person in another experience.

For me, yeah, very easy to forgive when the person ( who hurted me ) come & apologize

this is an issue that is easier said than done. many heinous things are inflicted on people these days. those people can even suffer shock from trauma issued them. certainly some things are not soon, if ever, forgotten.

do i have the ability to forgive easily? i would say not. that is i have great difficulty forgiving depending on the severity of the infraction.

Not every thing can be forgiven easily, some times it comes to ruining one's life such a thing is not as easy to forgive as forgiving someone who steps on your leg by mistake and apologizes immediately. However, for a good, religious person, every thing can be forgiven, some things may just need some time.

no i hardly forgive and never forget, i jst find it too hard and it sorta depends on the situation too, i might pretend to forgive but im my mind all the time i think about that person i will remember wt they did and i wont feel any remorse
