If not today, they will attack soon.
Israel says tunnels from Egypt are sending palestinians in Gaza, weapons and are probably right. Israel must see Egypt as an enemy. |

Well, they certainly SHOULD do what is necessary to stop the 8-year daily bombing of southern Israel by the Hamas terrorists.
If the recent war was not sufficient, let Israel take more serious measures to bring about unconditional surrender on the part of the Muslim terror groups.

It already happened this morning.
The IDF has warned the civil population (they made phone calls) to move away before they attacked.
Some tunnels were destroyed. There were no reports about casualties. |

Although Israel has "peace" with Egypt, they certainly don't love us. I believe Egypt is culpable in that they allow the tunnels to be built in the first place. I truly hope that the Shin Bet can assassinate Hamas' leadership without incurring collateral damage. (Which should have been done in the first place.) |

Israel attack?
As YOU said, Gaza is launching rockets, so yes, I think Israel is justified in defending herself! |

It just did a Hamas building was taken down. |

Rocket attacks have virtually stopped. There was a roadside bomb detonated from inside Gaza but did not cause any damage.
You mention Egypt in you question.
Egypt has not helped Gaza during the war and closed its border so that the people from Gaza cannot escape.
A lot has been said of the closure of the border between Israel and Gaza but it should also be remembered that Egypt has also stopped all movement from that side.
Egypt is a fairly peaceful place and the government does not want Hamas operatives operating from Egypt.
I doubt if Israel will attack Gaza again unless there is a breach of the ceasefire and Hamas starts to send rockets into Israel again.
The next step is to look at the future of Gaza. Will the UN send in a peace keeping force? or, will Fatah take back control? Who knows? |

THE TRUTH IS HOLY
 |
In the name of justice and brotherhood and love, let us hope that Israel does defend herself. This time, let us pray that israel does not do a half-way job like she did in the 22 day defensive action of the end of '08, beginning of '09. If Israel defends herself like she means it this time and truly defeats the bad guys, then all children - Christian children, Mohammedan children and Jewish children will have a chance of growing up knowing peace. If you do not feel that all children deserve peace because you carry a prejudice against one of the groups, let me know by giving me a "thumbs down." |

Israel said in the beginning they didn't expect all the rockets to stop. They just wanted to show what could happen if Hamas lets it escalate.
If the isolated incidents can't be ground to a halt they will finish the job.
Hamas needs to dig more holes to hide in. The Jews know where they hid last time. |

POLITICALLY CORRECT

i hope so, let them finish the job once and for all...and make the Gaza border Beach front Property...
BOMB TILL YOU HIT WATER !!!
send them all to there 72 virgins
or is it, 1 - 72 year old virgin
and Egypt can please BUTT OUT |

According to Israel's Military Intelligence chief Maj.-Gen. Amos Yadlin the rocket attacks right now are not coming from Hamas but are instead being launched by other groups that are hoping to make a political name for themselves. This is how Hamas and Fatah both got to be known.
However, since Hamas is the governing body and technically responsible for what goes on inside the Gaza Strip Israel has every reason to hold them accountable for these attacks. They aren't going back to waging all out war with Hamas over this but they have responded to several of attacks by targeting the exact locations where the rockets are being launched from; something they probably should have done during the 8 years of attacks by Hamas. Here is a link to an article that explains it all.

they have been, as per the peace agreement israel has been conducting airstrikes everytime a rocket is launched into israel. as for whether or not they will really re-engage, well i think that if it does happen it will not happen until after elections, and then it depends on who becomes prime minister.
and egypt, they dont care about the palestinians or the israelis, they just want to keep the israelis and palestinians out of their land, they are only involved bc they border gaza (were btw they set up armed guards to shoot at any palestinian who tried to come through) |

Outland

Since expanding the borders of the Jewish state beyond those in the UN Partition Plan depends on wars and destruction . I think Israel will attack Gaza , Lebanon , Syria , Jordan and Lebanon again .Let's face it Israel is the most occupier state in the world . |

The palestinians have all the rights this time to do whatever they can to fight for their land.
It's the jews that have created towns inside Palestine.
These towns that the katushas fall in should not be there in the first place.
The jews cannot do anything this time.
That's what this "war" was all about. If they failed to make these fireworks stop falling on their heads, it don't mean that we must let them kill every civilian in the area.
They keep losing one battle after another.
That's pathetic!

Hamas is not a danger any more, and will not be for at least 6 months. After that,if Hamas becomes a thorn in israel-s shoe,Israel will repeat the leson.
But what is more important for Israel now is the situation in Judea and Samaria where Fatah of mahmud Abbas is starting to raise its had and the elections. |
