Hey there Arabian Dune,
I definitely believe in chemistry between people. You could see a total stranger and just ease up to them for no apparent reason and the opposite also does happen and u feel something is wrong or misplaced and immediately take heed.
Some people call this intuition or sixth sense, whatever the name is, i feel it is a gift from Allah swt and that we should seriously consider it in our relationships. |

Its evident in the Egypt answers section, i guess its virtual chemistry with some.
In every sphere of life people go into groups for this reason.
People in love, love each other for this reason |

It has been proven to have a scientific basis. The science world has done a lot of research (mostly for marketing reasons) about the affect of pheromones and just why and how they work. Their studies have shown that we subconsciously assess the opposite sex as ideal mates by the pheromones they give of. When you feel that 'chemistry" it is exactly that , it is your pheromones telling you she would make an ideal mate.
The research I saw showed men and women choosing a seat out of a number of vacant seats. All had been sat on by males except 2 and 75% of the time men chose to sit on those particular seats even though they had no idea what the test entailed. the test done on females showed that we are a little more selective and the women chose the seats males had sat on only 68% of the time. But it is still a very high ratio and shows that we rely a lot more on the messages of our subconcious than we may think we do.
So I guess it proves to that we should trust our basic instincts a lot more. |

Yes, I believe in the chemistry of mixing the ingredients to make ARAK, it is the nectar of the gods, and it is pleasing to the mortals as well. Without chemistry, there would be no arak, and the world would be sad and have upset stomachs. ARAK makes all of that go away. |

Yes, I do. I sometimes have a very strong dislike for some people for no apparent reason. 99% of the time I discover with time that my initial reaction was correct and that the person is a real jerk.
Other times, I like the person immediately. It's like love at first sight! lol ... I have come to trust my insticts when it comes to this matter.
Edit:
loooooool @ rana! I know all about your "chemistry"! ;-) |

when there is chemistry between a married couple, their marriage survives any storms , or ups and downs in life.
chemistry also works between females to bind them in long friendships so that they seem to be twin souls.
i do believe in chemistry and nothing else as a binding element in relationships. |
