you can fall in love more than once but it will different taste each time but it'll never be like your first love ... that's why people say you can't fall in love more than once .. but actually it's "you can't fall in FIRST love more than once" if you know what i mean ...

and if things don't work out , you should move on .. it won't be fair for the next person you meet .. or for yourself for that matter .. it's hard , but it's not impossible ..

what happens in the new relationship is that you somehow become different .. you learn from the mistakes of the old love and try not to repeat them again ... (although you are prone to, in the end we're just humans) ...

Sometimes it is the real thing and sometimes it is not. Since u have no experience, u think this is it, no one loves me more than this, i feel like i'm on a cloud, I'm in love, sweeeeeet sweet love lol But then, some thing happens, u get to know some one else, and u discover that the new thing ur feeling is bigger & better than the thing u used to feel when u were in "love" and it makes u realize, that this is real love, not the one i felt before ..... Therefore, it might and might not be, u just need to figure that out for urself, and be careful not to go out broken cause u thought "this it it" !!

I say you can fall in love a number of times. I felt the same way with my first bf then we broke up and for a full year I thought Id never love anyone the way I loved him...Now I love my new Bf more than I loved my ex!

Falling in love can happen only once in a lifetime...but some people experience it more than once. I think the act of "falling in love" is a feeling that is not controlled and makes the person who has "fallen" vulnerable. Some people fall in love with people who don't return that love (that is why I think you can't fall in love only once)...also other people fall in love eventhough they are committed to a person already because their partner is not giving them what they need anymore and they might find that in some other person cuz for them love is also a need not only a feeling....but the best love is the one that lasts forever

Absolutely not. It's true that there will be always a place in your heart for the first guy you've ever loved but I don't think that love happens just once in a life time.

When you are in love you surely believe that a person falls in love once in a life time and you think that you would never be able to love anyone else like the one you do at present. This is something I think at this moment in my life.

But let me tell you that if, God forbid, we loose the one we love then our trust and belief from "love" will be gone and we think that love doesn't exist and we would never be able to love any other person now which is not true at all. It will just be a matter of time and some extra-ordinary strength before fall in love again if not sooner then later. However, it is INEVITABLE to forget your lost love.

"Heart" and "Mind" are two distinct components in each human being. Your "Heart" is nothing but your conscience. Often times you'll find that these two dissent each other and 10 out of 10 times your Heart will be true because it is driven by truth and controlled by God. Your mind will always try to find reasons even if it knows its not correct but your heart will not. So, if you listen to your heart (your conscience) and tame your mind you'll know that "Love is everywhere and you can fall in love again and again."

But though I know, understand and say all these things, to be frank "I do not want to loose my first and present love at any cost. I don't want to fall in love again, I would hate to see this situation of loving someone else come to me or anyone else" So lets pray, hope and Believe in God :)

No. I don´t believe that we fall in love only once. You will see that life will bring you many surprises. You will learn throughout your experiences that in life, the unexpected happens. You will realize and learn that your beliefs can change with time depending on what you´re living. You may think right now that the one you are in love with will stay the ONE because you believe in your feelings and can´t imagine yourself loving someone else. That doesn´t mean that this love will end necessarily but that something you least expect CAN happen to you one day without you wanting it...

well hun i m not gonna say that i dont believe in fallin in love only once a life time but i say u can fall in love again believe me it's not the end of the world or ur heart will stop with the end of this love but u can feel again u can feel happy with an other one u
