Verbally. People say I have a quick wit. On line - I am the Queen of the spell check button. On paper - I'm great at to do lists.

Verbally. My communication style leans towards talker / listener rather than reader / writer. Having said that, I hate talking on the phone!

Depends on the circumstance as always. Ideally anyone who is corresponding via paper should look the most intelligent being as they have the most time to proof read and edit. However, some people are very spontaneous and witty with verbal comments and this is what makes them seem smarter. I prefer the online choice because it is quick enough to seem witty and slow enough to edit. The key to any correspondance is thinking about what you are going to say/write first eliminate all the thoughts that might seem inept. Grammatical errors plague us all.

Paper and online, simply because I'm not as accustomed to verbal speech as I am text-based. I can type at the rate I think, but articulation requires more of a conscious effort for me and I need to slow down. Can't get my ideas out quicker.

Now if I could talk to people through their minds it wouldn't be an issue! That'd be awesome.

If u had asked this question a year earlier I wud have had a clear answer, now, I am not sure, I guess all 3 are equal, but I am not a talkative person still.. I listen a lot, or daydream maybe?! :p

A Goood share of the time i would persoanly think i'm better On paper or online. But there are many times when you hit the right things have a a lot of feeling for, that i'm sure i can verbaly give lots of intelegent Info also.
