As expected, In Zurich the Iranian president launched into an immediate denunciation of Israel, which prompted a mass walk-out by western diplomats.
"The offended diplomats would have saved themselves some steps had they followed Obama and other Western leaders by not dignifying this circus with their presence. After all, giving the Holocaust-denying fruitcake Ahmadinejad a platform to lecture the world about racism is like inviting Bernie Madoff to headline a global conference on business ethics.â€
The best part of his speech was the protestors throwing clown noses at him, now that was even better than the shoes at Bush! The less we encourage psychos like this guy the better we are all off.

"Despise" hardly covers my attitude toward Ahmadinejad.
He seems to follow the darker vein of Persian culture: the vein that attracted Persia to Nazi Germany during the 1930s and prompted it to change its name to Iran (Aryan) to identify itself with the Master Race.
Of course, the great majority of Persians would like to be called Persians again.

Yes, I do. I despise all despots. Ahmedinejihad puts Christians in prison purely for BEING Christians. He's also, as you rightly note, a Holocaust denier.

I hope and pray that the people of Iran do not believe the rubbish that Mad Mahmoud comes out with. Isn't the next election in Iran in the near future? What are the chances of someone more moderate and decent getting in - anyone know?

No,I do not despise him.He is a serious force and he is not a coward.And that he does not care about palestinian arabs and use them as pawns in his politcal game...The arab governments do not care about palestinian arabs,either, and also use them as pawns in their games.

He is a politician with certain agenda- to make Iran the Muslim Superpower of the world.
Does he really care about Palestinians?
Considering a long history of Iranian-Arab hostilities, and hostile Arab minority in Iran, I doubt. But he need this case to claim that Iran represent all Muslim.

Considering Ahmadinejad's favorable attitude towards the horrific human wave attacks in the Iran-Iraq War, which cost more than a million lives, one can only imagine what Ahmadinejad + nukes adds up to.

Edit: @ Sammy: Israel actually sold weapons to Iran because they thought Iraq was worse. But they didn't start the war, and they didn't invent human wave attacks, and they didn't invent Ahmadinejad or his apocalyptic inclinations.

No, he is very clever. I've watched the YouTube interviews of him. The reporter often tries to trip him up, but he always manages to keep his composure. That is one of the qualities of a good leader.

He is right about the Holocaust. This event is no different from any other historical event or criminal investigation. Give historians and researchers the information they seek so they can determine the truth.
