it might seem a question to attract some fun.. but actually a dream is much affected by the previous day events.
for example if you watched a Japanese movie, you might dream of people (not necessary the actors of the movie) who are in the mall for example and talking in Japanese (or something that "sounds" Japanese to you)
the same thing for any other language.
Dreams source of imagination comes mostly from previous day simulations (visual, auditory, tactile, smell) and how these simulations and events are contextualized in your memory according to how you feel about them about each of them and also in accordance. and dreaming is a process of contextualization of this kind.
in this sense language here is not a form of communication as much as it is part of your previous day (or days) experiences.
i mean dreams are not narrated, but are experienced through your feelings, and past stimulations and events.
Also surrounding environments of early childhood experiences have great effect on our dreams, some may still have dreams about things in there current life that takes place in settings they were familiar of in their early childhood
other sources of dreaming such as un-fullfilled wish, or inner fears.
so to answer your question yes it could happen to dream a dream most of the context is in other language than your mother tongue
--------------------------------------...
example: for some who are game-addict to a certain vedio game, they start to dream about the characters in the game or in the game settings. such dreams doesnt hold real meaning. but just a process if contexualization.
--------------------------------------...
example 2: you might dream you are going in a walk with someone you love in a place you were familier with in your childhood. and this place has a positive happy memory for you. your mind is associating happy things togather.
--------------------------------------...
example 3: you applied for a job, few days ago. then you may have a dream that you are accepted (unfulfilled wish), or rejected (inner-fear)
--------------------------------------... |

I asked my friend from Algeria this question the other day. He dreams in Arabic..... He thinks in Arabic as well, and speaks fluent english all the time. I think that is amazing - I dont know how he does it!! It would be so confusing to me!! Me? I speak only english and understand a little french and arabic. Congrats to anyone who is multilingual |
