Witness To Palestine

Yes, I do. It is coming. A new dawn of freedom. The winds of change; the peace bell is ringing.
Down with the Berlin Wall.
Down with the occupation.
Down with the hate and the war machine.
A new rebirth for the people of Palestine. |

This would be the ideal solution and one that will hopefully be achieved soon.
It is a dream that has to be held on to and never given up on. |

If only one day it will be a reality and not just a dream....what I'd give. Peace! |

A two-state solution with real democratic representation for Christians and Muslims. |

the land is the right of all the abrahamic religions, and for one group to claim exclusive ownership is wrong, hence the conflict.perhaps a day will come when we can all worship in jerusalem, whether we be muslim, christian,or jew.and all borders, checkpoints, walls, and militia are a thing of the past.God willing. |

Mark - you and I don't often see eye to eye, but on this I can agree with you 100%. Yes I dream of a day when this land can be rightfully enjoyed by all those who have religious and cultural ties to this holy land, which includes Jews, Muslims, Christians, and Israelis and Palestinians no matter what religion they may practise, if any. We may argue over how best to bring about enduring peace in this land, but we can certainly agree on this being our common goal, and try to work constructively towards achieving it for the benefit of everyone.

Yes I believe so too.
It is time all of people there start doing a few steps back.
Especially the Israelis. I am constantly reading about some terrible Arab children killings, whole Arab towns destroyed, terrible walls that surround Israel.
I think this is plain awful!
Peace is the only answer if the Israeli people want my tourist money that is. |

God people as in monotheists? Or do you mean good people?
And yes, if there is to be a 'Holy Land' (that itself I object to; holy AREAS are one thing--many of which I consider fascinating and tranquil even without having deep religious beliefs of my own--but an entire country?) it should be open to everyone. Jews, Christians, and Muslims all share common beliefs and common monuments. Why should one claim to be the chosen override another? |

Yes; when Palestine was under Ottoman authority pilgrims from all faiths were welcome to live there and pursue a life of prayer and meditation. Today it is over-run with gross commercial development. The view is taken is that is jewish property. I would prefer the 19th century to the 20th century version for a variety of reason, not the least being the relative absence of constant violence and unrest. People don't even call it the Holy Land any more. Most of looks like American-style urban sprawl and the condition of the indiginous population makes our 1920's Jim crow laws seem mild by comparison. I certainly do not feel the world has benefited from seeing it fall to jewish rule and I would like that rule removed. |

I dream of a Palestine where anyone can go in peace instead of a nazi state with checkpoints and walls everywhere. Those zionist cats are like the East Germans. |

Yes. People don't even call it that anymore since England poured in all those heavily armed zionists. Of course we would like to see them gone. Quickly. And let's not forget that the first step is to seize and dismantle their capacity for nuking us. |

Yes I do.The Christians in Israel for Easter are saying how wonderful their experience has been. The Christians in Darfur are in hiding from the muslim Janjaweed on this same Easter holiday. If found in a Christian church( the few which have not been burned by muslims) The Christians would be hacked to death by a machete by the muslims paid by the muslim government. |
