Drinking and driving is the most STUPIDEST, DUMBEST, SELFISH acts that ppl do.
I just dont understand how someone that is slurring, cant walk properly can think they can drive! Just hearing about it makes ny blood boil! Now we're in a postion when a good friend has been taken away from us, for what?! For some MORON??!!

I'll drive after a glass or two of wine over several hours. |

To be honest in the past I have. Now I would never. I think young people make huge mistakes and as an adult I'm always the DD or i just walk. |

No, definitely not. I've never driven drunk. I either make sure I have somewhere to stay for the night, or find a sober friend to drive me home. |

No, I don't drink and drive - it's irresponsible!
I was out one night though and had one drink to many (our designated driver headed off with some other friends) and I convinced my friend to drive us home, she was sober but didn't have a lisence. I gave her driving for dummies 101 and we headed home at about 30km/h. It took us about an hour to get home (35 km away), but at least we made it home in one piece. |

I may drive after having a single glass of wine - if I do that I have the wine early in the evening and wait a couple of hours to drive - so that it is completely out of my system. But never any more than that.
I generally drink at home when I won't be driving. |

I don't drink at all. Driving while intoxicated is not a good idea at all. People get killed everyday by drunken drivers. Ppl shouldn't take a chance. I watch the news everyday and it makes me sick to see crying families who have lost their loved ones due to drunk drivers. That's called manslaughter |

|
No.......I don't even remember when was the last time I drank alcohol, if eve did,.......and Diesel is right.....here at home most people can and get away with it..........we are now in the middle of a high proifle case of a high court judge chagred with druken driving........it's an allegation and we shall have to wait to see the outcome....if he's found guilty then we are going nowhere in terms of obeying the country's laws..... |

Hi Cakes, now I know the horror of "DUI" first hand and believe me, it's frightening! I really hope that others will take the issue of drinking and driving much more seriously. I,m just glad to be around to tell the tale. |
