They must be intelligent enough to make that determination about others. YOU must believe in yourself as an intelligent person. Only God needs to be convinced about how we as humans intereact within this life. Peace!

its only human nature to consider truely what others think of you, that does not mean you cannot over come it.
Most people pretend that they do not care how others think of them
The true stages of this issue comes on as, recklessness, concern then again neutral.
to elaborate i think every person while evolving and having more experience in society, he would first be careless not knowing what others could affect or do not affect his life, when he figures out how and why, he becomes more concerned about their thoughts of him in order to achieve his goals (again it doesnt matter how big or small his achievements are)
If he becomes mature enough to know that people are to be accepted as they are, he will also stop caring about what others think of him, and become neutral about the effect he needs to know about himself, since all what matters to him at such stage is what He only thinks of himself.
Ofcourse not to ignore that this to be achieved you go through experience, obstacles, social interaction, ups and downs, self esteem and success and failure stories of your life.

I am how I am and what I am, but I can't judge how others see me, you need to ask them.

I don't think that people now all my abilities, and they might not know about how intelligent I am or I am not.

I suppose we all do that because of our nature, but I prefer people not to see me as such because they are bound to be disappointed! I thank God for having a sound mind but "natural intelligence" is not really there ...

depends on how intelligent, intelligent means.... surely more iteligent than a blind ant...... but maybe not as intelligent as einstein..... somewhere in that intervall....
