So interesting that people know by now that we don't ride lions to work. But some have strong opinions about white South Africans are invaders and oppressors...
Are all Americans also not just invaders and oppressors of Native Red Indians? Are all Australians not oppressors of Aborigines?
Why do they pick on white South Africans to label them and them alone?
People that say white people should get out of Africa have the same mentality as Robert Mugabe then! Get the whites out of your country by any means possible and who cares that the "native" black people are dying of hunger!

So as you can see people think they know stuff about Africa and South Africans, they know we have houses and cars. But they don't know anything about the country if you haven't been there yet!
We live in the real world too and white South Africans have as much right to live in South Africa as black South Africans.

Fortunately I am from SA so I know that not everyone living here is black. I hate it when people think everyone in SA is black and that we live in some kind of safari kind of place.

Only ignorant people would think that. Africa is a continent which includes the arabic countries as well as the 'black' nations.
There are people of all extractions who have lived in South Africa for hundreds of years, just as they have in America. It is so ignorant to think of South Africa as a 'black' country. It is primarily a pretty civilized and beautiful place.

No and no. You don't have to be a certain colour to come from a country. Your colour doesn't determine your nationality. I don't think you can judge what the majority of the people think just from the opinions of a few.

For Megaloma...if you look at the soccer team( which they actually show here in South Korea) it is normal to think that everyone is black.

And then for Pod...the word "ka***r is spelled wrong and extremely offensive to black people from our country and I really hope people will report your answer.

NO... I'm better traveled than that. It's only the tribal Africans that are black... the Europeans that settled in Africa are white... in fact... I've never met a 'Kanner' that I didn't like.

I live in Mexico, and a lot of foreigners think that we ride horses and wear sandals instead of shoes.
That people live in their own world.
