Someone from the Untied Kingdom or Eire or the Middle East. Love that quote but only love it long enough to not Google it. Oh I have and it is Gamal Abdul Naseer, Egypt's second President. So, I was wrong as it was the oldest country in the world's second president. Well said and well articulated by the man that had to cope with the Suez Oil Crisis.

I looked at a small bio on him. Sounded like a true socialist without the evidence of turning despot. Castro started out exactly the same way....taking land from the rich and giving it back to the original rightful owners. Funny how a lot of people love Robin Hood, but when people speak of socialism, they automatically think of communism. This is not the case if socialism were to work properly, everyone - especially in a resource-rich country like Canada - would be very very well taken care of. It doesn't necessarily work well where there are no means to care for an overpopulated/under-resourced nation though - but what form of government would.
