i like to walk a loooooooooot
and that's ok ...and i know it's weird that ppl stop u and give u that face
because i'm lebanese and i'm kinda used to that
although where i live ...there is a really geart street
it's for cars actually but i feel it's just for walking cause we find no one driving around whenever we're walking...well yeah maybe one or two.
so, walking...and in lebanon...there would be nothing to say but :perfect...
u know there are lots of other countries where u can't or just avoid walking for several reasons
so lebanon is a great blessing =D

I love to walk but not through the town... I mean here you cant do that because its so hot and humid you will have a heat stroke... I like to walk in the park or in the neighborhood in the evening. Its a great stress reliever I sometimes walk 10 miles around the park if I am angry lol

Was it in the summer? In Lebanon, it gets so hot in the summer that people go for a walk only after sunset. This can explain why.

I live in the country; there's no public transport, so everyone uses cars and trucks to get about. Hardly anyone walks, so when I walk down a road about every other car will stop to see if I need help. So I totally understand what you're talking about. It's gotten so bad that I won't walk at all unless I can find a spot other than a road. State park trails are nice.

I used to walk most days but don't get enough time now so I use the treadmill ...

I've been amazed how that 15 mins a day has helped me shed the weight !

It gives credence to the old adage .....use it or lose it !

I love to walk, I usually do that very early in the morning before cars start to fill the streets.

Maybe they want u to run and not walk..cos u know people over there are always runing from something , could be the jets, or the bombs, or the riots, etc.
