Same here. When I was a teenager, people thought I was in my early twenties. Now that I'm 40, people can't believe I'm this old. I have had several people say they thought I was college-aged. I have a daughter who's almost 18, and people mistake us for sisters. The one thing I don't like is the back-handed compliment: "You look good for your age", or "You look good to be 40". How about, "You look good". Period.

Anyway, it's definitely a good thing to look younger than you are. Take good care of yourself and you'll always look younger. Once you're an adult, I can't imagine wanting to look older than you are!

People say i look older - which isn't good
but on the other hand people say me and my husband look the same age which is funny because he is 6 years younger than me........

I guess not. One girl thought I was 19 not too long ago. Someone else thought I was 16! can you believe that?
Oh and one night at work, some guy thought I was 28....WHAT THE HELL!

I'm now 17 and during the day people think I look like I'm 14, but during the night I look like I'm legal. YES FINALLY.

I got carded for buying my brother a rated R movie for Christmas last year... I was a month shy of 26.

I definately look young. And I'm sure when I'm in my 40s, I'm going to love it!

When I was in my teens, people always said that looked much older.. like 20-something
Now that I am in twenties, people say I look younger.
Just the other day, I was buying a car and the salesman was treating like I was a kid and then he mentioned that I looked like I was 16!! What?!..I am 21!!!
I thought that was weird......

sometimes ppl think im very young and sometimes they think I am older its very very weird.. I look 24 my age.. but some ppl think i am a kid and someone told me once they thought i was 30 this was when i was 21 and I think he said that because he was an old guy hitting on me and I was like im only 21

I don't know...I am 38 and I think I pretty much look my age...maybe slightly younger, but not by much.

My daughter is just now starting to look her age...up until this year, people would seriously think she was about 11 or 12. She is 16.

BTW...I look just like my mom. She is now 66 years old, but most people don't believe that that is her age. She looks very youthful. So, maybe I'll have her "ageing" genes!! :D

once we went 2 da cinema ,we're a group of 6 ,one of my friends is 2 years older than me ,but he looks like a teenager & it's a horror movie ,"the grudge", then da ticket gurl insisted on checking his "ID" 2 c if he was underage or not...heheheheheheheeeeeee
he's so mad & insisted on speakn 2 da manager & b4 he can say anything ,da manager started telln him that da movie is 4 18 yrs & up & there r terrifyn scenes & he won't b able 2 sleep at night & have nightmares ...heheheeee
my friend got more mad & start shoutn & kicked da manager's desk & pushed da ticket girl & swear he would never ever come again 2 that cinema....heheheheheeee
all was over after they saw his id & w watched da movie 4 free that night & free pop corn 2 ....heheheheeee
we kept teasin him 4 a whole month after that ....hehehehehe

Yes, I get that sometimes to. Everytime I buy alcohol or cigarretts, or go to a bar. I still get asked for ID to prove that I'm old enough to buy it.

People look at me as much younger than my age,

it is the person himself who tends to reflect the image that he loves to be that makes him look as people see.

I enjoy when i have to show my date of birth on my license when ppl tend to disbelieve me.
