At home. It's more comfortable, quieter, cheaper, and I never have to sit behind someone with big hair.

Their are high quality "big screen" movies I don't want to watch on the TV (e.g., epic, sci-fi action) and there are movies I don't mind falling asleep on the couch...

Certain movies I watch in the cinema just to support the movie makers.

I prefer to watch it at home because I get easily distracted. So, if I am at home I can pause the movie and go do something else and then come back to it when I am ready. When you are at the movies, you have to miss parts of it because you have to use the bathroom or go get something to eat/drink. I would just rather watch it in the comfort of my own home. :-)

since dvds are readily available, i opt to buy and watch the movie at the comfort of my home. Maybe those adventure and action pack film, big screen better but you have to shell out more - not only time, money and effort.

at home. theaters are way too overpriced from the tickets to the food. i can buy a dvd for less than it cost for 2 tickets, popcorn and sodas
