It would certainly help them a lot better to live in Egypt or in any of the other Arab countries where they can relate to others in many ways.
That would be the best way to bring peace in the Middle east between Israel and Palestine. While they may be welcome in the Arab countries and Israel would be recognized as a Jewish country. Peace, Shalom |

No but I think there should be an open border, managed by Egypt and not Israel, so that those that wish to study or travel can do so. Aid can come in that way, and Egypts gas is much cheaper than Israels also the world and UN could get in Aid more easily. And the Israelis could stop saying "We give them everything" The Gazans would finally be out of jail. Peace!
To add: America has just told Mubarak that they will cut off all aid from Egypt if they do not close the border. There are millions of poor Egyptians that need that aid. But strange that Israel is kind of taking the opinion that it would be better if Egypt had the border. So then why is America threatening this? I just saw it on the news will search for a source. |

Palestinians have one home only; Palestine (from river to sea), they should live in their own homeland…. |

Egyptian is the only one to decide that.
and why should they? people of Gaza still have there own lands and houses and business, but the Israeli who make it impossible for them to live in their own countries, as a punishment for innocent people including children, women, old ages , disabled people... etc.
why is that>? because of mussels came from Gaza they have nothing to do with it.
this people ONLY who decide where to live, they claim only for food, water, medicine, fuel and safety.. is that too much to ask?? |

Egypt for the Egyptians. |

That is for Egypt to decide, though I certainly would support it.
Though I do think international organizations should use Egypt as the point of entry for humanitarian aid for Gaza.
As the last week has shown it is far easier than going though Israel. |

First, masterjack, let me say that you obviously have very little understanding of geography. Here are a few maps to help you out: http://www.seaqueens.com/images/maps/redsea_map.jpg

As I'm sure you are not aware, the south part of Israel is mainly the Negev, which is a desert.
And second, why not? A large portion of them were originally from Egypt... It is the country's sovereign decision about whether or not this is something that they choose to do, but if they did, I would support it 110% |

I think Egypt should assist Palestinians to reside peacefully in their own land. |

No of course not why should the Palestinians give in to Israel's demand? Israel always wanted that Palestinians give up their land and move to any other Arab country. Palestine belongs to the Palestinians it's their land their right and their pride, giving in to your right by leaving your home is not right. If anyone should leave then it should be the Israelis, they have another home and they can go back to it.
Mark - Great answer Egypt is for the Egyptians, Palestine is for the Palestinians some Israelis still need to learn that. |

Absolutely. Let's see if Egypt treats them any differently than Israel does. See if the so-called "Arab brotherhood" exists.
Interestingly, Israel offerred to return Gaza to Egypt (its rightful owners) as part of the 1979 peace deal. Sadat couldn't refuse it fast enough. |

HIS!

certainly think Egypt or another Arab nation should allow it, but they won't because they could have years ago and didn't |

If Egypt wants to, but I doubt they would considering how they treated Palestinians when they ruled Gaza. Why do you think Palestinians were running to Israel instead of Egypt when Hamas took over Gaza? |

If the Palestinians want to then yes, of course! Do you ever wonder why it's OK for Egypt to have put up a wall between herself and Gaza, but NOT OK for Israel to have done it? The word 'hypocrisy' comes to mind, does it not?
Pre 1967, when Egypt controlled Gaza, why did she mine the borders, to prevent the Palestinians from escaping into Egypt? |

I think they should let the jews settle in their country. Palestine belongs to the Palestinians and anyway all jews long to return to the old point of origin which according to their - they claim - "histories" - is Egypt. |

Yes, then they will stop attacking Israel. |

Why not and while they are at it take over for Hamas and keep Gaza as part of their country. then they can worry about their Palestian brothers and sisters with food fuel and electricity. |

NO!!!
The land of "Israel" should be split in half. The northern half would be Palestine and the southern half Israel.
In the middle occupying Jerusalem would be the new U.N. HQ with a corridor that divides these lands from the Mediterranean to the Red Sea. Stationed there should be 300,000 man Rapid Reaction Force capable of delivering a serious smack down to ANYONE in the region that acts out of line.
This solution creates peace in the region and gets the U.N. out of New York .
They should settle in the land that they come from not some foreign place for the convenience of the Zionist interlopers! |
