I don't know how 22 days of that nazi operation without even entering Gaza can be called an achievement lol!!!
After all this "enough is enough" thing, that ex mossad agent had to go to US and beg Egypt to stop the rockets for her...

22 days of random bombing with massive state of the art weapons add to that banned weapons in civilian areas "amnesty international", half of zionist occupation forces amunition stock used on a an area of 360 square KM and still achieved nothing of their announced goals!!!

They claim they defeated all Arab armies in 6 days while they couldn't stop the homemade rockets for more than 3 weeks despite of using all of their force except nuke!

What achievement except killing children and women are they talking about? While that liar Olmert was speaking about ceasefire to announce his failure rockets were falling on occupied Palestinian lands!
Did they free that Shalit?
Did they enter Gaza?
I see Hamas is still a government with stronger support from all Islamic world which was united in the past weeks
I see Hamas didn't surrender
I see Hamas giving zionist occupation forces one week to withdraw and they are already packing...

If these zionists call that achievement then good for them lol

Yes , it was a big mistake,
cause it finally opened the world's eyes and made people think about who the terrorist really is, for the first time in so many years we saw the many countries were with Palestinians and felt their pain. So many demonstrations were done by Arabs and so many by non Arabs against Israel and this is something we see for the first time.

Plus, the war ended and still Hamas were not fully stopped which proved to the world that all that killing was not able to reach Hamas and it only reached Innocent children and women.

Israel mistake was from the outset and here is why:
There is no clear consensuses in Israel about the viable Palestinian state solution.
The Israeli are not ready for real peace. The Gaza withdrawal was not planed for peace endgames it was plan to prevent any future viable Palestinian state.
If Israel really want a real peace they should end the occupation of the West Bank and east Jerusalem too. end of the story.

well, concerning Gaza:
1-Israel thought that by killing all these civilians, it would force the gazians to blame hamas and its resistance.and it will teach hamas a lesson,never to resist.
and what i see that they are more grasping with resistance , and who was abusing hamas yesterday,is praising it today.

2-Israel showed its barbarity to the world by killing all these civilians,
it appeared really immoral!!!

They did the right thing by retaliating, but they really overdid it by going into gaza and killing almost a thousand civilians.

I'm still trying to figure how I'd handle a neighbor just down the street that has told me that his only reason for living is to destroy my house and kill me and my family. He keeps driving by with his fellow gang members and a few women and children in the car and taking pot shots at my house with a shotgun. He's done this roughly 6,000 times so far. The cops tell me that they don't really want to get involved and I should resolve the issue on my own. Moving is out of the question, because #1, I don't want to, and #2, my enemy has made it clear that no matter where I go, this world isn't big enough for the both of us.

Any suggestions?

hamas started shooting at israel with rpg's, missles, and what not....on the exact day that their previous peace treaty expired.
Isreal is simply defending itself and its people.

imagine if mexico started shooting missiles into texas or san diego from acoss the border. you can darn well bet that the usa will do something major to protect its citizens. why doesnt israel have that same right?

Their mistake is agreeing to a cease fire which will give the terrorist Hamas time to rearm.

No. Hamas had to be defeated which they were. Even though Hamas will claim 'victory', the only thing they accomplished is harm to their own people.
