Yes, it's fantastic. Great beaches, nice hotels, and lots of history if you're interested. I've been there several times and it's my favorite place to go scuba diving.

Very great place! Spent a couple of weeks there few years ago.
However I'm sure Lebanon would be much cheaper at the moment.

Yeah. Especially if you take a cruise on the Nile. There are so many things to see in Egypt. It's breathtaking. It was my best holiday ever.

Alexandria, Egypt, is a fine place to stay on the sea. Check out the Jeddah Hotel on the Corniche. Great view of the sea. Decent service. Cheap! Within walking distance of great seafood restaurants.

Go to Alex by either the Spanish or French trains from Cairo. In Cairo, stay at one of the hotels in Heliopolis. They are cheaper than in Cairo and usually more friendly. Also they are VERY near the Giza pyramids.

When you go, take plenty of "small money" because no one has change. Also take pocket tissues so that you don't have to pay the toilet attendents who charge lots for a tiny sheet of toilet paper.

Egypt has every thing Egypt is gr8 it has 1/4 of the momentum's of the world civilization and plus what ever you'd like to do you'll find it in Egypt (except and ice sport lol) the red sea is wonderful full of wonders, Luxor and Aswan full of gr8 Pharaoh stuff Alexandria has the gr8 library of Alexandria, Cairo has everything you want you'll find the pyramids and sphinx, khan El Khalil, Cairo museum, Cairo's tower
the people all over Egypt are as friendly as locals can get

Of course!! Everyone HAS to be nice to you or else Allah will punish them and their fasting will not count! Never been to my home country but mom says it's full of fun at that time! I bet it is! Music starts gettin around everywhere!
